Bright light. Easy to mount.

Smooth Light, Adjustable Colors and Intensity, Solid Build
This is a very nice and sturdy LED Panel light. You can mount it on the ceiling, hang it from some chains or put it on a wall. The included anchor frame will allow you to do all of these easily. But, while itâs nice that it makes it easy to mount, whatâs important to me is the quality of the light that it produces. Is it evenly distributed over the panel face? Is it bright enough? Is the light color such that my eyes appreciate it?The answer? A positive yes to all of them. I imagine that I might be able to see some lighter or darker spots on the panel, but thatâs only when I stare and really examine it, and how often do you do that? For a casual glance or for using the light, itâs perfect. There are three light levels you can adjust to via a switch on the part of the light thatâs hidden away between the panel and the wall. The same with the five different color options that you can select, from sunset light to bright eye-piercing white. Thatâs really the only objection I might have with the light panel. I wish that the switches for those options were on the side of the panel. But you can still access theme with ease (see the next paragraph).In mounting the panel you would first screw the metal mounting frame in place (make sure you have an electrical supply, too!). There is secure mounting screws and anchors included as well. Then hook up the wires from your source to the LED wiring. I use WEGO clips, which are so wonderful! Then there are two flat hooks on the inside of the attachment frame that slide into two openings on one side of the LED light frame. You would hook two safety wires that are connected to the LED to the attachment frame (the directions tell you where, though they are a bit unclear. You would then rotate the LED panel up so it fits snugly into the ceiling mount, latching in place. You can unlatch it and let it hang down (to get the adjustment switches) by using the little latch tabs that stick out beyond the frame.There is also a thin set of wires that are set up to be connected to a separate 10V dimmer option. Since thatâs included with the panel Iâm assuming that the light dimming wonât work with a standard LED dimmer switch, but I havenât checked that out because Iâm not going to have a dimmer switch attached to this.The outside of the frame itself looks very nice. I doubt that youâll notice it after the first time or two its used, and thatâs how it should be.

Good shop light
This came well packaged but had no wiring nuts/connectors and was missing 1 of the 4 mounting screws. I had wiring nuts and didn’t need the screws so in my personal situation it was no big deal but otherwise this could really be an inconvenience for someone. For what it costs you should have everything you need, that’s my reason for 4 stars. That being said… I mounted this in my shop to replace an old unreliable double florescent bulb light. There is no ceiling (mounted to roof truss) so it’s easy to reach up and change the light color switch (warm white, white, bright white/daylight) or output switch (Hi, Med, Low) from a step stool. It also has wiring for a dimmer switch but I don’t have that so I can’t comment. I have a similar light in my kitchen that I put up a few years ago and have been very happy with it. With my old one you flip the switch off and on within 3 seconds to switch between light color. The older one also is on 2 scissor hinges, push the light “forward” one way and lower it down. This new one sits on 2 J hooks and swings into place like a door (very convenient for hooking wires up) then has 2 locking mechanisms on the other side to keep it in place. The only issue I can see with this system is that it can’t be flush mounted to the ceiling like my old one, unless I’m missing something, otherwise there’s no way to access the locks. This is the only potential issue I could see for someone wanting to flush mount this light. There is maybe a 1/4″ gap or less on my old light but you would need a couple inches on this one. I do like having the option to change the lighting color-although I’ll probably keep it on daylight-and the output. Currently it is on high but I haven’t used it when it’s dark so we’ll see if it’s “too much” or not, I’m doubting it. I like these well enough that I will likely get another one in the future to replace the other florescent light I have just so they match, but so far it works fine so can’t justify the cost. Overall for my needs this works great and I’m pleased with it, although personally I think it could maybe be a little lower in cost.

Flexible and Bright Lighting Option
I installed the 1×4 Multi-Mount LED Panel in my home office, and itâs been a great upgrade. The ability to select the brightness level and color temperature is a huge plusâit lets me adjust the lighting depending on the time of day or what Iâm working on. The dimming feature works smoothly, and the panel gives off a clean, even light with no flicker. I mounted it directly to the ceiling without any extra hardware, which saved time and effort. It feels lightweight but has performed solidly, and the energy efficiency is a nice bonus. Great value for a customizable, professional-grade light.
