The gate is tall, which is nice, but overall it’s much flimsier than expected. The gate closes and opens pretty rough, it’s a chore to use it basically. Only bought it because it has the measurements we need, but wish the structure of it was more sound. Would not repurchase, would not recommend.*update* – This gate sits in my entryway hall right next to the door, so the door can’t swing open completely (inconvenient for daily life but that’s the setup for our situation). I was at home alone during the late evening and I heard my front door slowly open, but I was not anticipating my bf to be home yet. After maybe 10 seconds my door slowly closed. Called my bf to see if that was him. Nope. He was not the one who came through the door. It was dark in the hall, so disassembling a tall gate may not have been worth it whilst trying to rob a non-empty home. The height worked in my favor, as you cannot step over 44in. Would recommend.

Long term use
Iâve had this product for over 2 years now and itâs great for cats! My cats had the habit of jumping over any gate I put, but with this one it all stopped. Itâs too high for them to jump and itâs pretty easy to set up. My dog never pushes it open and respects it, however itâs not going to hold up if you have a large dog. I would say itâs sturdy but over time it becomes flimsy.Â

Works great, great price
Great product. We have dogs that jump like theyâre part kangaroo, but this keeps them contained. It opens and closes easily, locking into place. Great for less narrow doorways/hallways. Price canât be beat either for this size!

Effective and easy to mount
I am extremely (maybe even surprisingly) pleased with how well this is working for me. I was looking for something pressure mounting (absolutely not permanent on the wall) , not too expensive (around 60$), and tall enough to restrain my two cats (my townhome has basically no doors across 3 floors). I gotta say that this one works great. It is very easy to mount once you understand the latching mechanism, it locks sturdily and it stays in place even though my cats try to bump in it. It’s both easy to open and remove once you don’t need it anymore. Also, it well adapts to various widths.Cavieat: Cats will try to climb it. Whether they will succeed is not really the point. I’d be more concerned about their safety if they get a pawn stuck in the net. I wouldn’t use it overnight when I am not there to keep an eye on them. I’d say that it’s a great product if you need to temporarily restrain a pet while you are around.

Stable and easy to install but no door!
Simple to install and the first gate that worked without a headache. The only issue is if you need to pass often it’s not ideal because it doesn’t function with a door.

Exactly what I needed!
This gate was a STEAL at what I paid! It works perfectly in the doorway I wanted it for, and even my fence-hopping hound respects it. It’s not super sturdily made compared to what I might have made myself, but it compares well to a child baby gate, just much taller with wire mesh instead of plastic. It’s making having visitors much easier on my undisciplined hound girl who was a rescue and still can’t get it through her head that she shouldn’t jump on visitors even if the let her get away with it. Lol Now instead of being forced to crate her, she can just be in the next room and watch from the doorway with my sweet male who is perfectly behaved but scares some silly folks anyway just because he’s a Pittie. My best boy is an angel who would sit quietly in the doorway to the next room without the gate, but now my girl is finally learning to do it, too!

Broken on arrival, multiple times. Plus returning through UPS was a nightmare.The Gate:I ordered 2 of these gates, because the height was great for my agile Labrador. I remembered this style from when I was younger; they were always simple and sturdy. Alas, just like everything else, the quality of the product has tanked. The wood is flimsy and clearly easy to snap seeing as both gates were broken on arrival (in the same exact spot) ⦠So, I ordered 2 replacements and after 1 replacement arrived broken in the same spot AGAIN, I cancelled the other replacement and sent them all back for the refund.The Return:Although I had requested for the items to be shipped in an outer box, one arrived without one. When going to return the item, UPS would not allow the return to be made without an exterior box (even though thatâs how it was initially shipped to me) They told me it wasnât their problem and to take it up with Amazon, who told me I shouldnât have a problem. (Classic example of collaborative companies not properly communicating with each other regarding policies) I wouldâve had to purchase a pricey large box from them in order to return a broken product â Luckily one exterior box was big enough to fit 2 of these gates inside it and I was able to use that as a workaround.Needless to say, this entire experience was a freakinâ nightmare..

I am super happy with my purchase of this “baby gate,” and would 100% recommend it to other people. I bought it with the intention of using it to keep our misbehaving cat in a specific room at nighttime, so he couldn’t run amok while I slept. It works perfectly and is really easy to set up with no permanent installation required, and a very simple closure mechanism that anyone can use. I can’t speak to how it would help with children, but it’s awesome for cats/dogs. I would absolutely buy this again! It’s well-made and is, in all honestly, one of the best purchases I have ever made online!

Me parece un muy buen producto, lo tuve que devolver por que no me funciono para mantener a mis gastos separados, a medias, por que la gata mas grande si respeto la reja pero la bebe tardo menos en brincarla que el tiempo en el que la coloqué y en verdad la instalación es muy rápida y fácil.
