Huge time saver and a must for any DIYer
Iâve used corded versions of this before and always resorted back to my impact driver. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and wanted to give this a try since I already had the battery to see if it would help speed up my project. Itâs very light weight and well balanced. Iâm still trying to get the hang of it with installing 5/8 Sheetrock on a ceiling but I really like this tool. It is faster than using my impact but not by much. I still really like this tool since it does stop you from over sinking the screw. Best advice I can give you is to only press the trigger when you have the drill tip depressed onto the screw. This unit is not very forgiving if you are not perfectly straight when sinking a screw. When you hear a grinding noise when you are sinking a screw, itâs best to stop and start overâ¦or you are going to burn through replacement drill tips. The drill bit that came with the tools is very durable and will last you a while but order some replacements anyway.

Best drywall gun ever used!!!!!
I’ve been a contractor for the last 35 years. I’ve used more drywall guns than I can count. When I saw that Milwaukee had come out with a cordless drywall gun, I had to give it a shot. Let me say something to anyone who may be skeptical… This is the best gun I have ever used. No joke! I am simply amazed at how well this thing works & how little effort it takes to use it. My favorite feature is the fact that, just like most drywall guns, you can lock the switch on, BUT, this gun works differently. When you lock this baby on, the motor doesn’t run until it feels pressure at the tip. At first I figure this was a bad idea thinking the gun would need to get up to speed before sinking a screw but not the case at all. Lock it on, throw a screw on it, & just touch the drywall…. ZIP… in & done! I really couldn’t be happier with this thing. You can literally hold it by the battery above your head & sink a perfect screw every time! Outstanding item! Way to go Milwaukee!!!!!!!

The best drywall gun
The best drywall gun, EVER! Cordless, Lightweight, well balanced in the hand and on the belt, ergonomic grip, effortless screw insertion very easy to adjust depth, a very low draw tool meaning a fresh 5.0 battery should last a day or two even with constant screwing. BUT the two VERY best things about this gun, in my opinion, are the fact that the motor does not run until you put pressure on the tip and there is a lock feature where you can depress and lock the trigger but again the motor wont run until the tip senses pressure. To boot, when the motor does engage while you’re driving, it is EXTREMELY quiet. It really makes installing thousands of screws almost fun compared to the constant irritating whir of a traditional drywall gun with the trigger depressed. very nicely engineered tool.

Drywall Screw Gun
I recommend this screw gun. It makes putting up drywall easier and faster. The screw is in and reset perfectly before you know it. The gun works better for straight drives. If you have to put in the screw on an angle, like on an edge, then it doesn’t work so well and sometime I had to finish it with a regular gun. The bit only works when pressure is put on it in either auto or manual screwing. The auto is really helpful when reaching to drive a screw and not having to pull the trigger. The pressure on the bit turns on the drill and drives it fast. I was really happy I bought it even though it was just for one job drywalling my garage.

Love this gun. I couldnât ask for a better screw gun.I love the fact that itâs very lightweight, it wonât cause fatigue and itâs designed to fit your palm perfectly and really feels like an extension of your wrist.Itâs super smooth and quiet, has a switch that if you turn the auto feature on, it only runs when pressure is sensed on the tip, sparing you from the constant whine of having your drywall gun running constantly. Easy on the ears.Depth settings are easily adjustable and precise with tactile clicks when turning dial.If you need to back out a screw, you can quickly pull the depth guide off (itâs quick-connect) and back out your screw. The bright led lights up the work area so you can see where youâre screwing in dark corners.A small m18 battery lasts almost 8 hours of near constant use, so itâs very power efficient.Best of all is the solid construction. Dropped it many many times from up to 7 feet and it keeps on going with no issues… very tough and well made tool.Highly recommend the Milwaukee FUEL drywall Screw Gun.

Believe item was counterfeit, due to the quality of the tool it was covered grease, also turned up in a black bubble wrap bag, no box or instructions were included.Tried an official colated screw attachment didnt properly fit the unit and the rating plate had inconsistencies, details were sent to milwaukee
