I guess Iâm a Milwaukee guy now.Great little vacuum.Good suction, rugged and well thought out. The battery can be tough pulling out for recharging. Maybe a manufacture flaw? The same batteries are easy to remove and install in my electric drills. But itâs still very useable.The attachment and hose are really nice!The latches for the top are chunky, easy to lock and unlock, and are well designed.Iâve used it for all kinds of jobs. Mostly around the cars, but also on a new pantry I built.I previously got a set of 2 Milwaukee electric hammer drills that came with a charger. Now I keep all of the Milwaukee devices together in the garage.Iâd buy it again.

The Milwaukee people have a great design team. This is a very useful product. For a portable vacuum cleaner, this is a winner. Powerful enough, and with a 5.0 or 6.0 AH battery, it lasts long enough to vacuum the interior of my car. It’s a bit loud to be comfortable. If it’s more than a one minute job, I put on ear protection. Power, duration, weight, and noise have to be balanced against battery life and size. This product is a good compromise for my uses: cleaning my car after a trip, quick clean up after shredding documents, or a quick touch up to the front door mat before company shows up. I recommend it strongly.The only thing I would like to change is to add designated space under the lid for a brush attachment. I found a place for a little brush attachment. It’s not very secure, and I had to experiment with different orientations to allow the lid to close. But it does work.

Hose has a design flaw causing clogs
This is supposed to be a portable battery-powered shop VAC. It should be able to vacuum up large debris such as wood chips and small leaves. The hose itself is OK but the plastic end connector used to attach it to the vacuum input acts as choke point causing clogs, which have been noted by some other reviewers. The inside diameter of the hose is large enough to handle common debris without clogging. The end connector, however, has an inside diameter thatâs much smaller, which will easily cause clogs on larger pieces of debris, especially small leaves. One solution is to use a power drill and a rotary file to carefully remove the offending ring of plastic inside the end connector. The only reason for this plastic ring inside the end connector is to make assembly of the hose to the connector easier. The interior ring of plastic acts as a stop preventing the hose from being inserted too far during assembly and fixing the hose in place while the adhesive cures. After assembly it serves no purpose and can be completely removed without damaging the hose or the connector.

Bought this as a gift for my grandson a year ago and he still uses all the time to keep his car clean. It works great because there is no cord involved. Has great suction and stays charged for quite some time!

Great vacuum, but had to learn the hard way.
I don’t get noise level since this vacuum is very powerful and loud, but I digress. This vacuum is so great, but I want to leave you some tips when using this vaccum. Trust me, I learned the hard way:1) Buy either a 9.0 or a 12.0 battery (recommend the 12). This vacuum takes a lot of power, but it gets the job done. However, read the next parts carefully.2) if you’re using this vacuum, there are two things you need to do and remind yourself:- Do not wash the filter to clean it (this is a hepa filter that is not washable). You have to tap the filter, then use the blower side of the vacuum to clean it.- Do not use this vacuum with the filter on if you’re just trying to remove water. Trust me, I nearly burned out my vacuum because the filter was wet and was not allowing suction to pass through. If there are some debris like dirt, then you can use the filter. But not if it’s just water alone.3) buy extra tools. This only comes with two and they’re not used for household materials and maintenance. Buy the tools around 1.25 inches in diameter (turn it to fraction).This is worth the payment.
