Bought this because I, like many fellow millennials, stared at the “shrubs” I ignored for 3 years and realized they had become actual trees. Near the house. With thick, smug little 6″ trunks. So instead of hiring someone (lolâmoney?), I got this adorable horror-movie-sized chainsaw and took matters into my own underpaid hands.Itâs giving M3GAN energy: small, efficient, mildly terrifying, and surprisingly effective. Super easy to handle, especially in tight spaces where a full-sized chainsaw would turn into a drywall-removal tool. This one let me get right up against the house without suddenly having a skylight.Comes with a tidy little case, extra chains, a tiny tool that makes me feel like I know what Iâm doing, and zero chain oilâso BYOO (bring your own oil). Filling it was easy, using it was easier, and now Iâm feeling like a slightly unhinged suburban lumberjack.If youâve got mid-sized regret-trees haunting your yard and generational financial trauma haunting your soul, this thingâs a win. Highly recommend.These things are dangerous though so please get yourself some real gloves not the one’s that come in the kit and if you aren’t half blind like me then get yourself some safety goggles! Chips do fly but the cut is clean.

Easy to operate and handles larger than expected limbs
Excellent buy. Easy to use, does the job of a much larger gas operated chainsaw. Battery life is longer than expected. Cutting was easy and quick. Lightweight so made quick work out of many limbs without exhausting myself.Appreciated the nice storage case, the extra chain, and the other items.

Quite surprised!
This chain saw really surprised me, as I didn’t expect much from such a little, inexpensive tool. The batteries came fully charged, and while I took me longer than expected to get to the job I purchased it for. the batteries were still fully charged WEEKS later. It powered through 5-7 inch logs and a bunch of other small stuff with ease, never overheating. The first battery lasted for most of my job, and I switched to the other battery which still had plenty of battery life left by the time I was done. I was dreading cutting up that wood pile from our dead plum tree, but this was so easy, it was almost fun. My neighbor suggested this kind of saw to me, he has a different brand, but he was right, this thing makes cutting through wood a breeze. This will be life-changing in maintaining my property. The only negative so far is It does seem to leak a little chain oil at the cap, hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

You get what you pay for, but that doesn’t mean it’s no worth it. Good yard tool.
Surprisingly affordable, but be cautious about what you are getting. There’s a reason it is so affordable. This is a very handy, effective little chainsaw to do little chainsaw work around the yard. This is not a let’s-chop-down-trees chainsaw.It’s pretty cool that they include two extra chains and safety glasses (you’re gonna want to wear ’em, flying wood chips and chainsaws — of any size — are a thing). They include cotton-like gloves which are better than no gloves, but they’re not going to protect hands from anything pointy. There’s also a cheap, but handy to have Philips screwdriver to adjust the chain as it seems to get slack fairly quickly, but is super easy to adjust.All of this comes in a handy but ill fitting plastic case. Again, there’s a reason the price is so low. Net-net, for that every-once-in-awhile boy, I-sure-wish-I-had-a-little-chain-saw yard project this unit comes in handy.The build is okay. It’s very easy to use. I would not leave it in the sun for any length of time, as I doubt the plastic would hold up. So far the battery lasted as hoped and you get two of them.At the end of the day — be safe. This is a chainsaw and there are no little “whoops” with a chainsaw.

I love this little hand held saw
very easy to use, lightweight and effective I am 70 and need to trim branches regularly. Instead of asking someone to help me I can now do it by myself. Cut through a 4 inch branch like butter! Easy to clean, I haven’t needed to change the chain yet but because it comes with 3 extra I don’t have to worry about ordering replacement chain for awhile. It’s fast for such a small 6 inch blade. I love it!

This little gadget is amazing!
This saw is amazing! I have had to cut through 3 inch branches and it cuts like a dream. I am 74 years old and still very active clearing out brush and cleaning out over grown tree branches in my yard and this little gadget is just as good as a big saw. There are clear instructions included with 2 extra chains and it is very easily cleaned. It is not complicated at all. For someone like me, this is a God sent.

I am a 67-year old woman living in Alaska and depend solely on wood heat. I have many scraps of wood lying around. This little marvel is exactly what I needed to cut kindling.
