Best replacement to OEM yet.
Working great compared to the factory assembly. I like the fact it is a 194 temp instead of the 203 standard. Engine only runs a couple degrees cooler but I feel the rest of the coolant system is working more efficiently, and the fan does not have to run as much. I drive about 20k miles a year and in long distance rides of 3 hours or more the jeep does respond better.

Overall, very happy with my purchase.
Application – 2016 Jeep JK on 35ââ tires 3.5â lift, 4:56 gears and winch partially blocking front grill.Problem-Vehicle started to overheat due to the OE radiator leaking from the seal between the aluminum core and side plastic caps. Replaced with Mishimoto full aluminum core radiator and was still not happy with temps as they would reach 210 to 235. I tried swapping out thermostat both oe and aftermarket and no change.Itâs been two days after installing the new Mishimoto 190deg. thermostat and the operating temperature has been between 192 to 217. I first thought that the temperature needle was going to be below the middle mark, but this was not the case as the needle is actually right in the middle during the day.I only a couple days on my vehicle and believe It is too early to give an honest review, but so far I am happy with the performance of this new thermostat. Not too crazy about the bleeding screw as you can only access it with a torx bit and have limited clearance when installed but overall built quality of product is solid aluminum and appears to be very well built.A little bit on the expensive side, but not much difference from OE.Iâm hoping that at the end of the day this will pay for itself by avoiding expensive repair cost due to excessive wear and tear as a result of high engine temps.I am also a little concerned the next time I smog my vehicle as I may have to swap back out to be able to pass CA emissions test. If it continues to perform the way it has been for the last couple of days, I think will be well worth it.I will update my review only if performance starts to decline.Post date 7/30/25
