What I expected for the first week

It Has An Unpleasant Smell But Now I Understand
When I received this product and opened it, I had to research it because I could not imagine anyone selling something that smells like this. It smells bad. I googled the internet and found this:Vitamin C Serums “can smell sour, metallic, or even like “hot dog water”. This is often due to the presence of ferulic acid, an antioxidant often used to stabilize Vitamin C, which can have a strong, almost unpleasant scent.”This product does contain ferulic acid so I guess that’s why it smells so bad. So I guess this is legitimate skin care and the ferulic acid enhances the vitamin C serum. The promos say that “this formula is designed to diminish the look of fine lines and improve skinâs overall tone and vitality, revealing a smoother, more radiant complexion.”I put it on under makeup with an SPF cream on top. Once the serum (light weight oil consistency) had spread out, I didn’t notice the smell as much. It spread easily and under my SPF cream, and I didn’t notice that it was too sticky. It went well under my cream and makeup. I’ll continue to use it as I want the known benefits of Vitamin C. It says to use it within 2 months and to keep it in a cool place. I put it on this morning, and my skin feels very soft and moisturized tonight after also layering in the SPF cream and foundation.

Finally–a potent and effective vitamin C serum for all skin types.
There are a lot of vitamin C serums out there but few are actually potent and effective enough to produce results. I have used other mixsoon products and found them to be accurate in their listings and producing the desired results with consistency and time.This mixsoon Vitamin C serum has a great combination of ingredients, nothing over the top and no fillers. The serum only requires a little as it is potent. It does not feel sticky but it is a thicker feeling serum. A little goes a long way and if you put too much it might feel more oily and tacky but it will still feel very moisturizing and hydrating. It will leave a dewy look on your skin. I did put a little too much and just put a moisturizer on top and then followed it with sunscreen. The dewy and glowy look shines through and is not greasy or oily but has a nice healthy look.I was happy to see that this vitamin C serum clearly has a expiration date because true vitamin C is quick to oxidize once exposed to air. When you open the bottle, you see that the cap is very secure to minimize air exposure. If the vitamin C oxidizes, it will turn a dark orange/brown and will not be stable or good to use anymore. A 2 month expiration date once opened proves to me that this is the legit stuff. I have used prescription creams with vitamin C and the expiration date is shorter once opened and that helps to see the efficacy of the product. Many other vitamin C serums will have less potent and effective formulations that will not actually oxidize so that would imply that there is not a high enough concentration possibly in the formulation.The price of this serum ($15) at time of review for this 0.34 oz is very reasonable to me as a little goes a long way and with consistent use, this will start to product results fairly quickly. You don’t want a huge bottle of this stuff as it will go rancid before you can use it all so a smaller amount is a good way to see how this works for you. I personally have seen pretty immediate results in terms of the potency and efficacy of this. Vitamin C will make your skin more photosensitive so be aware that you will need to apply sunscreen and try to wear a hat while using this. Even with only using this at night, if you are not diligent to apply sunscreen and protect your face–you will have a reaction—like I did. It goes away and just reminds you to be more diligent to apply and reapply sunscreen regularly and preferably wear a hat while using a vitamin C serum.
