Good for wood floor
Itâs good for removing tough grime and stain. Not for everyday use.

Worked exceptionally well!! Highly recommend.
I highly recommend this product (Mohawk FloorCare Essentials Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner) for wood floors with a polyurethane coating on top. I used this product to clean 2500 sq ft of 17 year old oak hardwood flooring which has a polyurethane coating. This product was recommended by two hardwood floor businesses along with a family member who has used this for several years. Iâve attached a picture of the result after it has all dried and I think it did a very good job! It continues to look the same after much foot traffic leaving no noticeable foot tracks or changes in the shine. Also remember on floors like mine, you are not actually cleaning the âwoodâ, but actually cleaning the protective coating on top. For other type flooring I have not tried it.What I found is that you must clean your floors really well before applying. Read all the instructions on the product. I used an upright small vacuum with brushes turned off to pick up any items on the floors and then used a microfiber dry mop on all floors. To apply the product I used a microfiber wet mop sprayed directly with this product and only got the mop wet enough so you can tell where you have been (I have over a half a bottle left after doing 2500sq ft of floors). I believe you do not need to have your floors wet with this product but only lightly noticeable and I found working the mop with the long length of the wood worked best. Do not spray this product directly on the floor as stated in the instructions. (note: the mop I used was bought on Amazon, product number 6320010 and does a fantastic job on wood and tile).I would test your floors first. If you have used other cleaners in the past, there is no guarantee this will take away any previous buildup of product which may result in a haze that is no fault of the product. I was also told by a hardwood specialist that if other products were on the floors previously you can use a mixture of non-ammonia based Windex mixed lightly with water to remove film first, allow to dry then use Mohawk floor cleaner. I did not try this nor recommend it but just passing it along.I also would recommend only using this product occasionally. I think the best care for hardwood is to only use a dry microfiber mop a minimum of weekly and only use a cleaner when absolutely necessary. The last thing you want to do is remove the protective coating on your nice hardwood investment. I see a lot of recommendations online and some recommend vinegar and water but vinegar is acidic and I donât want that on my floor coatings, nor water which is woodâs enemy.I highly recommend Mohawk FloorCare Essentials Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner.Pros:⢠The product goes on the floors evenly and easily.⢠Only requires light pressure.⢠Does a good job cleaning and letâs your floor shine through.⢠Holds up well to traffic.⢠Leave no residue or film.⢠Nice light lemon scent.Cons/Observations⢠If youâve previously used other products and have a buildup on your floor, this may not work or youâll find youâll need a lot of elbow grease to avoid hazing.⢠This is not for floors that have worn out coatings on the hardwood. Nothing will bring back lasting shine in that case except to recoat or refinish your floor.⢠This is not to make your floor shiny. This product cleans your floor and allows the beauty of your floor to shine through. It is not a restorer nor will work magic on old damaged floors.

A must have if you have Mohawk floors.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It is a must if you have Mohawk Floors. Â I bought it once I read you needed to have it otherwise you would void the warranty? Â I re ordered because it works so well. Â No streaking or weird smells. Â I just spray and then use a mop behind it. Â it dries quickly and my floors look just as good as the day they were installed.Â

saved the leaking container
love the floor cleaner, but it was slightly leaking. I saved it by putting the rest in another container. That was unnecessary , i paid allot for a small amount any way! Can’t it be solid in a bigger amount?
