Awesome gate. I love it.
This was so easy to put on. It’s gorgeous. Now the cats can be protected on the back porch with this gate up to keep dogs from ever running after them. Worth every penny. Genius design too. It’s literally like a door. No bars at the bottom. Nothing drags. Swings open on those hinges and shuts back. Perfect.

Excellent gate for those with kids or bigger dogs.
Iâve been using this gate at the top of my stairs for over a year. It has held sold even when the dogs ram into it. I mounted a 1×3 board onto the wall on both sides first, making sure to hit the studs. And mounted the gate into those boards. This is the first gate Iâve had that hasnât been destroyed. Easy to adjust. Easy to remove when needed.

EASY INSTALL AND STURDY GATE.
I live in a condo and have a front courtyard. We cannot add a permanent structure but this works great. I can sit out there with the pups and pop the gate shut. Very sturdy and well made but does collect a bit of water somewhere (can’t figure out where) and leave a slight trace of rusty water when you swing the gate open/closed.

Great gate but installation sucks
Works excellent but was a pain in the ass to install because of the wall trim and the instructions were also complicated. It would be nice to have an installation video. Fyi – you are not supposed to install this on drywall which would have been nice to know.

Great dog gate
We don’t want our dogs to go down into the basement. We’ve tried all kinds of barriers from the usual pressure-fit baby gates to heavy folding gates, to baby gates AND folding gates AND chairs and boxes. Somehow our shepherd finds a way through. We usually find a pile of gates and chairs halfway down the stairs and the dog sitting in the middle grinning. This gate screws firmly into the wall on one side and into the wooden post on the other. It’s easy to open! I press the release with my thumb and lift with my toe and it unlatches easily. The instructions say that it has to be screwed into a stud. We just used mollybolts and it worked fine. Light weight, easy to install, easy to operate, and it looks really nice. So far our dogs haven’t found a way through.

Used two gates to easily span a wider space
We bought two gates (bargain-priced as open box returns) and used three of the four panels to cover a wider space. It took just a bit of extra effort to make it work, but it certainly did. I looked at several options but couldnât find one that would span the full width of our steps without using a bottom brace that looks like a tripping hazard. Others narrowed the opening and would have made it difficult to use the handrail.The three panel gate isnât to heavy for the hinges but we made something to take some of the weight when not latched. We didnât use the upper latch mechanism either. Just put the extra bottom latch on top. No toddlers here. We need the gate to keep our dog on the porch and the neighborâs dog off the porch.Fit and finish are good. Plastic latches seem to be of good quality. Should hold up to the weather for several years.

Install instructions not great but did get the hardware installed without too much difficulty. The plastic piece that secures the top and bottom of gate a bit flimsy. One large dog jumped the gate and broke the latch.

Great pet gate for wide opening
We were searching for a wide gate that didn’t have a threshold you had to step over. This gate exceeded our expectations. Easy to open and close, swings in either direction. We bought it to keep our 2 small dogs out of an area. Works perfectly!
