Noticeable improvement in complexion
I am in my 50s and have tried other vit C serums, and this one is the only to result in noticeable improvements for me. My skin appears smoother, less crepe-y, and I look refreshed. I wear it under tinted sunscreen and powder so it is working on my skin. underneath the cosmetics. It is fabulous.To address some on the cons others have reported – which are minor in my view given the positive results: scent – yeah it smells a bit like iron supplement pills because it has iron in it. After toner, this serum is my next layer when doing skin care and I layer a tinted, scented sunscreen lotion on top which covers any scent issues. The other con others have mentioned is stickiness: yes, a bit but again, the tinted sunscreen lotion takes card of that. After sunscreen , I use a translucent powder. No stickiness after that.I really love what this does for my skin.

You guys!! I bought this at the end of October last year and am just now ordering another bottle. It is April 2020. If you follow the directions, this stuff LASTS. 3-4 drops is all you need in the morning under your make up and/or sunscreen. This has maj upside to the cult classic name brand of the same thing because its price tag is way less. I read where the ratio for an optimal combo of these ingredients is 15% vitamin C, 1% vitamin E, and 0.5% Ferulic Acid. This is your winner. Donât use more than three to four drops or youâll smell like a deli meat counter ð¹ it does have a bacon scent if you go overboard but it fades quickly. I really noticed a glow after using this for a few weeks and now Iâm addicted. I even have another vitamin c serum that starts with a âkâ – smells like roses, and was way more expeezy and I PREFER THIS ONE! I think it gives me more results. For an iPhone to capture a glow while Iâm taking a selfie in front of my steering wheel – that deserves 1,000 stars. You should add this to your cart. âð¼Ps – works extra well if you have a vitamin B5 or B3 lotion to use in tandem. I found a great serum foundation with sunscreen and b3 so it does double the work and I just apply it a couple mins after this serum. If youâre looking for a new foundation to use with these drops of gold, I highly recommend LâOréal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation. Hereâs to glowing â¨

Complete Skin Care knows what customer service is
I had an issue with the product. That happens. Stock doesn’t get rotated or whatever, the difference in whether as a customer you want to do business with the company again is how the matter is resolved and how you as a customer are treated. Not only will I do business with the company again but I gave them a 5 star rating. Here’s why, I noticed that the product had a pickle like odor and was yellow in color. To me these are indications that the vitamin C is getting old. I contacted Complete Skin Care directly and recieved a response that included an apology that included a gift for my trouble and a timeline for when I would receive a replacement. Like my Dad always says, problems happen it’s how they are resolved that makes a company one you will continue to do business with inspire of problems. June at Complete Skin Care was prompt, courteous, respectful and made me feel like she valued me as a customer. I will definitely be a regular customer. I switched to this after using Skinceuticals serums, which are much more expensive and dermatologist recommended. Honestly, I can’t say that I notice results with this, or with the fancy brand, but hoping that it helps as part of an overall skin care regimen. The box and bottle were both sealed, though there doesn’t seem to be any lot or expiration date marked. The serum is a typical amber color, and absorbs well with only a touch of stickiness (definitely not “silky” as some reviews claim). Package states “no animal testing,” which is also important to me. I’ll continue to buy unless I find a better product for the price.EDIT: in the second bottle I purchased, the serum is clear rather than amber-colored. I think it does darken with time, so perhaps the second bottle was fresher. Skinceuticals was often amber as well, so this is not necessarily an indicator of the quality.

Weird smell but works great!
Ok so the reviews werenât lying, this stuff does smell odd⦠kinda like bacon grease or something weird, but itâs not bad⦠I use about 5 drops all over my face and neck but beware! Do not get this stuff to close to your eye area where the skin is more sensitive.. I got a little bumpy rash under my eye when I didnât wash my hands before putting on my moisturizer all over my face and I accidentally spread it too close to my eye. My skin is glowing with this product though!

Sadly not worth it
UPDATED 9/28/2020When I ordered this product the first time sometime in 2019 it was COMPLETELY CLEAR as it should be, now Iâve ordered it twice just to make sure I didnât receive a fluke but sadly it has been yellow both times which means itâs potency is at a nearly useless point and could also stain my skin. Waste of money until they fix this. Really disappointed.OLD REVIEWI found this after researching vitamin C serums, itâs completely helped my skin turn for the better, itâs visibly softer with more even tone, and itâs definitely lightening my many acne scars which stand out on my brown skin.
