The Nespresso Vertuo coffee and espresso machine brews 4 single-serve cup sizes all with the touch of a button. Each machine includes a complimentary welcome set with a range of Nespresso Vertuo capsules with unique aroma profiles. Nespresso Coffee and Espresso machine by Breville makes use of dual size single-serve capsules for brewing either coffee or espresso with consistent flavor at the touch of a button. Nespresso Vertuo uses large capsule for coffee and small for espresso and has patented Centrifusion extraction technology reads barcode on the rim of compatible single-serve capsules and automatically sets brewing parameters. The Vertuo machine brews four cup sizes: 1.35 oz Espresso, 2.7 oz Double Espresso, 5.0 oz Gran Lungo, and 7.7 oz Coffee. Additional features include an adjustable tray, 40 oz. water reservoir, machine will automatically eject capsules after brewing; holds up to 17 use capsules. Heat up time of only 15-20 seconds and energy-saving automatic shutoff after 9 minutes of inactivity.

Game Changer
I really wanted this for an upstairs coffee bar – I thought it would be easy; itâs small so doesnât need much space; itâs nice to be able to get a cup without having to go downstairs first thing in the morning.It turns out this has become our favorite coffee. Now weâre spoiled. We donât even bother with our auto-grind/timered/brew conventional coffee pot anymore. Weâre just keeping it for when guests might want a pot in the future.Not only is the coffee phenomenal, the process is neat and tidy – no more measuring coffee and water and making messes. Just pop the little coffee pod into the machine and turn the lever. In a few seconds, you have this lovely cup of espresso or coffee. I love the open and discard feature so you never have to handle a used coffee pod.We received free recycle bags to fill with old pods and shipping is free to return them to Nespresso where theyâre processed and reused. Nothing goes to the landfill. Itâs brilliant!The price point is high. Which keeps us from drinking coffee all day. But we donât really feel the need to because the one cup in the morning is so satisfying. And a pot of coffee a day just isnât good for anyone anyway.The brewing machine looks 1940âs vintage and very cool sitting on our antique server. Itâs not something that needs to be hidden out of sight.PS we got the frother with it. You must have the frother if you want to up your cappuccino game. It is amazing! So easy, simple and delicious.

Breville sure does make a quality machine
This is such a well made, yet compact machine. Very easy to set up and maintain, easily portable in case you need to move it. It works magnificently, making barista-level creations without having to measure out the coffee or have to deal with filters and the like. We actually picked up the milk foamer as well, for that extra touch. There can be leakage at the bottom, but that usually comes from the water tank not sitting in the housing properly or over filling the tank. The pods that you can order (either one time purchase or subscribe for a better price) have different flavors and types of coffee like espresso shots, double shots, and full cups of coffee. With all the flavors, you can make creations that could be sold at a Starbucks or what have you. This is perfect for a kitchen set up, as it doesn’t take up too much counter space.

Great Coffee maker
The best coffee machine we have owned, who knew a coffee maker could make such a big difference. Now if you like your coffee simple…this might not be the best choice for you. This is more for the coffee enthusiast.Its is a bit on the noisier side but that didn’t bother me.

I ordered the wrong Nespresso coffee machine!
I thought it was a new version of an earlier retro model Iâve had for a number of years. It turns out I had ordered one exactly like the one that just arrived!! I wasnât as happy with the newer model Nespresso Vurtuo as I was with the older model. The older model has a more square water container and used cup container. The original Nespresso coffee machine I had didnât a little âplatformâ under it. Iâm sure the coffee machine works fine but I now have two I donât use and an older one I like better as it seems to extract more of a coffee flavor from it. This order was my error as I thought it looked just like my older model. I would like to return it for a similar updated version.

Excellent when it works. Frustrating when it doesn’t.
Makes a nice and easy cup of coffee and the flavor selection is awesome.I’ve had to get this dumb thing replaced via warranty twice. It was a gift for my wife and it made me feel like a jackass BUT at least the warranty and support is there for you.I’m sure the engineering team for this one is kicking themselves.Our first machine started signaling that it needed cleaning/descaling and my wife didn’t know because the only indicator it has is a light built into the “make coffee” button. It flashes a certain number of times in a certain pattern with one of two colors and you’re expected to learn how to speak its language or something. She just kept making coffee until it refused to make any more. At this point we had to pull out the VERY UNCLEAR manual to decipher it’s secret tongue of flashes, pulses, and colors. THEN we had to learn the secret handshake sequences of button presses and lid open/closing to tell the machine to start cleaning/descaling. Cool Whatever. At least we got it cleaned and operating again right?Nope! It was now stuck in descaling mode and would just empty the water tank no matter what we did. The secret handshake of slaps, taps, flips, toggles, and button presses described in the manual never worked so we called support. Naturally they tell us to do the things the manual told us to do no less than 3 times and decided to ship us a new one (at no charge as long as we returned the old one). They explained this model sometimes had these issues. Great.So a couple weeks later, surviving on the old coffee maker, we finally get the new one and life is finally restored for a few more weeks, then THIS one started signaling via it’s arcane and esoteric whatever-you-call-its that it needed descaling/cleaning, but after again swearing my way through the manual at how dumb it is to operate the various modes of clapping and stroking its various doodads to the beat of niche 80s jazz instrumentals about coffee and george clooney, THIS one would never ENTER the mode necessary get it running again (after a wasted descaling packet i might add). So another journey on the phone with support for an hour of doing what I had done while swearing at the manual and they of course finally decide it’s best to just ship another device (at no charge) which took another two weeks of Backup Mr. Coffee.So for those keeping score, that’s two failed devices covered under warranty. One that wouldn’t EXIT the mode it demanded me to enter via a secret password of standing facing east during a full moon with a blue shirt and signaling smoke to the westward wind with my eyes closed while reciting the gettysburg address. And another that wouldn’t ENTER the mode it demanded me to enter via (you get the picture).I’ve never in all my life been forced to interact with a device with a more ridiculously stupid method. It filled me with enough rage to thrash the machine to pieces and the only reason I’m not giving it 1 star is because support got it replaced at no charge. If this THIRD machine decides to do the same absurd things for maintenance and get stuck then I’m either going to actually destroy the thing in my backyard or demand that support send me a completely different model.If they want to design a machine with this many different maintenance functions then they need to give it more than one button. I’m not going to install a stupid app and give my COFFEE MACHINE access to the internet or my phone’s bluetooth so i can enjoy a cup of coffee. (and to be clear i don’t even think their mobile app even does anything quite as useful as controlling the machine).SHEESH

This is my third Nespresso Machine. The first two (Warranty coverage) were the Next Model which I learned very quickly is a terrible to use machine. Nothing but problems. It was replaced once and when the same issue started again the warranty would replace it again. I was out another coffee machine. The coffee itself is what keeps me as a customer. Itâs the best tasting best quality of a single brew machine.This machine has been brilliant. Itâs a big bigger on my counter. But itâs quieter. Built better than the Next models and still easy to use with zero issues up to this point. Highly recommend this model or any model other than the Next models.

I had a keurig before this and the quality on the nespresso is far superior. The machine heats up quickly and produces a nice smooth and hot cup of coffee. Iâve only had an issue with the machine once which was resolved by Nespresso staff in a short fashion. Great product especially when itâs on sale. If you can wait, Black Friday and Boxing Day is a great time to purchase
