Working great. Great addition to my nexar family I previously had a beam one, which i now use for my cabin, this is stationary and doesnt turn or rotate thatâs a con. My need is for insurance protection and cop protection. This will only give you front windshield protection. I like that I can connect remotely to the camera but you have to be close which defeats the purpose. I like that it now records my speed. Their next beam camera needs dual cameras that can rotate from side to side and up and down.

Drive in Houston and enjoy driving long distances. If you live HTX, you know that drivers donât think and cause several issues. This dash cam is perfect for every day usage.Itâs easy to install. Clear picture quality. The app also assists with being able to download incidents. One big plus is if someone hits your vehicle while parked it instantly records it even when car isnât turned on.

Stopped working after 1 month
Stopped working after just one month. I paid a premium price for this dashcam, including a full year of data, but after two weeks of back-and-forth with support, there’s still no solution. They keep instructing me to perform a factory reset by pressing the power button 10 timesâyet that doesn’t even work. The device seems completely non-functional, and the support has been unhelpful. Great setup love my Nexar dash cam itâs like itâs not even there would highly recommend to get it. Donât buy any of the recommended items to get because the beam 2 mini has an internal memory and that canât be upgraded just a heads up but everything is cloud storage through the app.

I am very disappointed with this camera. Only reason I MIGHT keep it was I got it for basically half off. I have had a Nexar camera for years. I have never had one this complicated when it comes to seeing my full drive. It takes forever to due load your drives, the camera resolution is not as good as cheaper alternatives. It can be used with their rear camera, which is practically useless and NEVER should have been approved. Shame on you Nexar for letting down your loyal customers.BTW. See that in progress for my video. That was 24 hours ago downloading a clip that started while I was driving. Their system has issues.

Hereâs my list of pros and cons after a week of using this car camera from start to finish:Pros:- Discrete and neat design.- Good quality video.- Simple and easy setup.- Responsive customer service.Cons:- Slow video upload speed on LTE connection, only works when the car is on.- Immediate trip preview unavailable, requires WiFi connection and video download.- Lack of night vision (admittedly an advertising error), but night videos are decent.- Low live view quality, especially at night.Conclusion:This is my first car camera. I wanted a device without a screen that I could connect remotely for peace of mind while parking or driving. It does that, but it has flaws. Itâs a bit overpriced considering the issues.

Excessive Heat
Only thing camera does shut down to excessive heat. South Texas weather 100 degrees out. The camera says shutting down due to excessive heat.
