Great Power in a Compact Package
Iâve used the NOCO Boost X GBX155 a few times now, and it works exactly as advertised. It started my diesel truck with no problem. Super easy to use, charges fast, and I love that it also works as a power bank. The build quality feels solid, and it’s small enough to keep in the truck without taking up space. If you need serious jump-start power, this one is worth it.

What’s needed to jump start all these new cars. If you have a newer car that 5 years are newer with the battery under the seat are in the trunk area. You need this one to jump start your car. I work as a tech and work for a luxury brand that’s a pain in the ass to jump start do to battery location. Also these newer EV cars that have the 12v battery go dead. You really need a lot of power to get them enough 12v power to place them on the charger to charge the HV battery. Without a good 12v battery the HV battery can not be charged. So you get a car with a dead 12v battery and need to change the HV battery because it’s low, you’re in trouble. On other cars with the jump points so far from the battery and the battery buried, you need this much power. Love the size and weight compared to older jumpers I’ve had. So easy to carry to the car. Has held up fantastic with its constant use. Charges up quickly with the higher rate charging plug. You do need to get this unless you want very slow charging with your normal phone charger.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed with this product. Seemed like a nice investment specially with all the good reviews. I purchased mines for a personal Christmas gift this past December , used it once when I went to charge my jumper , it will not charger at all . I brought a stronger voltage charger because the one that comes with the jumper isn’t strong enough. I tried charging the jumper with the cigarette lighter charger that won’t work . After doing much more research it seems a lot of people have issues with this product charging specifically when the battery gets low .To be honest this product cost way to much to have this defect it shouldn’t matter if the battery is low why are people having issues with the jumper not charging. I paid for warranty ( asurion ) from Amazon and filed a claim. They responded saying this issue is still covered by the original manufacturer’s warrantyPlease contact THE NOCO COMPANY. Don’t make sense even if it is I paid for warranty from you why should I be inconvenience. Anyways if you do decide to purchase this jumper do your research

This is the one! If you are thinking about getting one or thinking about the TikTok shop one, think again. This is it. It’ll start whatever you’ve got. Again and again. I’ve pulled up on people charging with cables, boxes, what have you and every one has been left in the dust. They’ll say “i already tried with mine and it’s dead dead.” It’ll start. Within 15-30 seconds. Most often times , instantly. I’ve started big diesel boats, trucks, cars. I even ran my mini excavator on it for a half hour in the pass through mode with it.  During hurricanes it charges all my devices.I’d buy one for each of my family members if I had the money.   You will not be disappointed!If you can, get the lil case too. It’s going on three years now with mine and I’d never use anything else again.  Use:Charges everythingBattery life:almost three years and i charge it occasionally. I’ve jumped more vehicles than I’ve charged it. Portable:With the case it just sits neatly in my truck at ALL times. Charging speed:that CAN take a while depending on what you use to charge it. I bought two of these as I am a owner of a large number of classic cars as well as some lager vehicles like trucks and tractors.I was going to go down the professional gear mechanics use but $4500 a units, and they are huge, was too much so I decided to take a punt on these.As mentioned previous they are great, have started all sorts of equipment from cars to tractors to 13T trucks.I am just about to purchase some more around the 3000A mark and keep the big GBX155 in my workshops.
