Great Air Fryer
Love this Air Fryer which does so much more. I use it now daily to cook tofu, heat up meals, roast veggies, etc. It is quick and so much easier than using my oven. Love the grey color as it blends in with my other stainless steel appliances. Fits on the countertop and under the upper cabinet which makes it very easy to use and store. I did use heat it up 4-5 times before using to burn off any smells. Easy clean up too.

Great interior cooking size – larger than average
I appreciate that the bottom part is integrated into the air fryer itself rather than attached to the handle, making it lighter and more manageable. This design also maximizes the interior cooking space, allowing me to easily fit an 8×8 cake pan for baking. The quality feels solid and durable, and the food tastes great without any chemical aftertaste. I also enjoy the convenience of the simple settings.

Top Quality meets superior function and appearance.
I have now used the NuWave Air Fryer product for 11 days. It has proven to be exceptional in its cooking versatility. I have fried, toasted, baked, thawed, and dehydrated food in it. It has incredible heating control’s and is practically a set and forget appliance. When it beeps that it is ready settle in for a great meal. Steaks are just incredible. The outside is seared and I use a Meater+ temperature probe for doneness. I open my application set the temp and start. The Meater beats when internal temp is reached. Steak never tasted so good as in a NuWave air fryer providing the cooking and Meater watching the meat. When cool, rinse in the sink and wipe dry it’s ready to go again. I love it.

Read this if you’re worried about plastic odor during first few uses
So far, so good. My first air fryer, so not much to compare against. But it works well. The controls aren’t perfect, but after reading the manual, it’s pretty easy to operate properly. I primarily use this to cook frozen fries and chicken nuggets, and it cooks those better than anything else I’ve used. Maybe I’ll get more creative with it over time. Just the fact it can reheat fries and nuggets fast and well is worth the cost.I did want to mention one thing: another review stated their unit had a plastic smell over multiple uses. That worried me and gave me pause from buying this unit, but I gave it a shot anyway. There is a heavily laminated piece of card stock between the metal of the heating element and the food drawer that serves as some sort of protective packaging for shipping. The manual doesn’t mention this laminated card stock piece AT ALL, let alone to remove it before first use. Fortunately nothing melted or caught on fire when I began testing the unit. I only noticed this laminated card after doing a couple test runs with the air fryer and wondering why it smelled so heavily of plastic — unusually so — under the drawer. Totally thought the other review was right. Removed this packaging card stock and the odor went away immediately during the next use. So, if you’re reading other reviews and see mentions of extensive plastic odor or poor heating after the first few uses, you might still want to give this air fryer a shot and remember to pull out the drawer and look for a white piece of card stock packaging between the drawer and heating element.
