Fantastic camera and better customer service!
EDIT: The customer service for this OMBAR Camera has been absolutely top-notch! They took care of replacement under warranty and the shipping incredibly fast! 10/10 these folks will be on top of my frequent by-from list.The camera is of good construction and the quality of footage is great. It was easy to install and performs well. Where it falls short is the plastic used to manufacture it. After installation and a few days in the Mississippi summer heat, the plastic around the connecting magnets warped under the weight of the camera in my car. Now the angle is considerably off and the holding power where the magnets are have been lessened due to the misalignment. If you live anywhere below the 35°N line in the United States, this isn’t the camera for you, especially during the summer.

A good cam for daily commutes and long road trips
I love this cam. First of all, setting up this dash cam was surprisingly straightforward. The front and rear camera capture crisp and detailed footage, ensuring comprehensive coverage from both angles. The dash cam performs at night. I can easily adjust settings, view live feeds, and download clips straight to my phone. I also like the parking mode. The g-sensor is really working when there is a collision. I tried it by push my vehicle gently and it did trigger the sensor. I have been using it for 2 wks and will provide updates for the long term durability test. I will also test it during summer but I believe it should handle high temp condition without shutting down.

Buyer beware of scam company
Buyer beware. I just bought this dash cam and could not get the app from the Play store. After several emails back and forth from the company they finally talked me into using the QR code. It wanted a credit card number that’s they said would not be charged to my account. As soon as I did finally put it in my bank called from the scam alert department and ask me if I okayed a $68 payment to them. I did not it was supposed to be free. And they also tried to put it through three different times from different accounts. In my opinion this company is a scam that sells dash cams and then steals people’s money. So buyer beware

Excellent video and features but flaky app, WI-FI, and SD support
This dash cam was the best and the only one I kept out of 4 that I bought to check out.The larger screen (compared to most dash cams) is important, because it’s still tiny to see. The others would have been nearly unusable. The video quality and features are excellent.Starting the Wi-Fi and connecting an iPhone to the dash cam with Wi-Fi are very flaky, usually requiring many attempts and sometimes never working.The provided 56GB SD card worked like a charm, but the dash cam failed in every attempt to format a brand new Samsung High Endurance 256 GB SD card. It’s supposed to support up to 256 GB, and the SD card attempted worked flawlessly when connected to a Win 11 PC. Any ideas from anyone?I prefer to have the display always on so that I can confirm that it is recording by seeing the flashing red light. It is not distracting at night.I chose to not install the interior camera so that the forward image is a full 4K resolution.I made a little cheat sheet to keep in the car showing what each button does.Including the speed on the video recording is disconcerting. I haven’t yet determined if I can turn it off.The startup sound bothers some people, as if yet another alarm from the car. I haven’t yet determined if I can turn it off or down.Despite the challenges, I’m considering buying two more of these so all of mine operate the same.

Bought this twice now one for me and one for my husband. Itâs easy to install and the video is very clean. Also love that itâs magnetic connector to the base so itâs easy to remove when I need to put my windshield sun shade.
