Excellent Tool. Worked perfectly!
Works perfectly. Very quiet motor and I think the soft vibration calmed my cat- like a massage. My catâs mats were extremely tight and close to skin so I didnât use the attachments – used the shaver directly and this allowed for a close shave while not harming the skin. I had a big area on his back to address so I took my time and did the work over 3 days- I honestly think my cat enjoyed it! The kit comes with everything needed including oil to treat the components. It came fully charged and lasted through 3 sessions with battery remaining! A great investment- such a savings compared to a vet visit! I feel like I got professional results- the tool is nicely weighted and just the right size! Iâm so glad I could take care of the problem at home!

Quiet and Powerful
My son has like.. so much hair. He gets so hot and sad during summer and developed some mats in some areas – itâs a lot of work grooming himself, I imagine.I used to take my other cats to our vet for their summer cuts but these clippers work so well and are a fraction of the cost for the vet to do it. Theyâre lightweight, comfortable to hold, easy to use and very quiet so the cat isnât startled by them. Easy to clean and cut through all that hair with ease, even shaving off the mats like nothing.Just need to work on our fade technique so he doesnât look so choppy, lol.

This is the ONLY product to buy to remove matted cat hair. My cat wen out after it rained and when she returned home hours later, her entire under chest, arm pits, belly and the top of her hind legs were densely matted tight up against her skin from laying down in wet grass. Her long fur was completely matted and the only way it could be removed was by shaving. I have used Wahl Cat Hair shaver before and it is also every effective and equally as quiet as this one. Both have the same light humming sound which helps the cat to be less stressed while being shaved. I rate this one above the Wahl one because this one is cordless and while shaving the cat with a corded shaver, you always have to move the cord and the cat perceives it at something foreign coming at her. This shaver is much better ergonomically in the hand. The blade with is about 1 and 3/4 inches horizontally and thes was the perfect dimension. Critically, this shaver did remove all of the matt’s. As other reviewers noted, my cat also relaxed during the shaving, so much so that while lying down on her side and slightly on her back, she actually raised and comfortably stretched out her front legs to enable me to shave the matt’s under her arm pits. This was a totally uncharacteristic action on her part while shaving. She is usually tense and merely tolerant while shaving matt’s. A few hints, shaving matt’s is not something the cat can tolerate in one sitting. When she moves away to run to another room, etc., accept it and be done with it. This gives the cat an understanding that she is in control and not being forced or yelled at, etc. This freedom will bring her peace and hours later or the next day you can resume the shaving. In this case, with a densely matted coat, tightly against her skin, it took 3 sessions several hours apart. I could tell she wasn’t as upset as she has been in the past when she usually tense and hides under the staircase or a bed. With this shaver she did run but instead ran to a a large package I had in the kitchen allowing me to see her and showing me she was grooming her fur with her tongue. in other words, this running away from the shaving process was like an automatic reflex for her but her behavior by keeping herself out in the open indicated to me, she didn’t mind this new shaver. One reason the cats will need to run from shavers is that the blade does become hot so, it is a proper defense mechanism to run away. You need to let the blade cool down totally. Mats are dense and the machine is working hard so, do everything at the proper pace for the cat and the machine. Do NOT waste your money on the various wire or weirdly shaped metal mat removers. Those prices do NOT work at all. Put your money into this perfectly sized, corded electric shaver, which is totally effective at removing mats for less than $40. You will see that the money you spend in this is an investment and not a waste of money like the other products. I highly recommend this product to remove heavy, dense mats.

Excellent Value!
This is pretty awesome! I received it today, topped off the charge and shaved two cats tonight for the first time! Years ago I had a brand name charger that was much more expensive and I struggled to do a small dog.It is very quiet, until I put on the attachment, then made more noise. The attachment kept falling off. Instructions are one star. I assume you adjust the dial for the type of hair. It seemed the lowest setting worked best for me. When I finished the 75% mark was flashing. Without the attachment, it cut super close (be careful!) but cut the fur like it was nothing!My cats have never been shaved before, they are clean and are not matted. I am only a bit bloody. I called and was quoted $200/cat for a groomer.For the price, it’s great! I’m tempted to give it 5 stars, but there is room for improvement.

Excellent on Day 2!
I have only used this trimmer twice so far. One to shave the belly of my long hair Queen cat who is expecting kittens soon and today I shaved the belly of my Old English Sheepdog and shaved underneath the paw pads. Both times the shaver has performed well and is very quiet. I used the shortest blade that was attached to the shaver . The Shaver was fully charged when I received it (thank you seller) and very simple and safe to use on the pets with ZERO razor blade irritation. I will make another review after I have had more time using this product. I highly recommend this shaver!

Meet Tonks.Tonks is a very cantankerous feline. Tonks has been abusive towards me in the past, especially when it came to grooming- and I’ve tried EVERYTHING aside from heavily drugging her. Tonks hates all forms of grooming aside from her tongue. Even gentle brushing. Tonks has very thick fur that matts quickly and densely. Tonks loves these clippers. I love these clippers. They cut through her matts like butter. They’re exceptionally quiet, and she barely even notices when I use it.Charging speed, size, power, and adjustment capabilities all work extremely well. So well, in fact, that my husband has been toying with getting one for his beard. We could not possibly rate these clippers any higher. Worth the money.

My cat still hates it even with the sound being so damn low
Absolutely fantastic. Cuts through the toughest mats! Charge lasts forever. Works really well on mats at the skin. Size fits amazing in the hand, as well as different sized clippers for length of hair. We even used on human hair and it works great. Easy use. And a charge lasts forever and didn’t take too long to charge from what I remember. Powers great it works so well

I have 2 long haired cats who are skittish with loud noises and shedding like crazy. These clippers were quiet enough that they would lay on their sides and let me cut their hair. I purposely gave them a kittyhawk.Highly recommend for owners with skittish animals. Only problem is that I found it hard to get an even cut. I was doing it on my own and although the cats were mostly cooperative, hard to keep them from moving while keeping their skin taut and the clipper in your other hand. Another set of hands would probably resolve uneven cut.Easy to use and box can be used for storing. Battery is great. Used a couple of times to trim their bums and then about 45 minutes x 2. There is still 75% battery left.

If you need something to shave a thick coated animal like a cat or dog, these are amazing! I was skeptical given the price but they come with a whole kit and work so, so well!! They are quiet so my cat doesnât mind them and get through his thick coat really well! We unfortunately needed to shave him due to matting and they did a wonderful job! Quick and painless, definitely worth the money!!!!
