Great lights, don’t give up if you have app troubles
Great lights, once I get them installed it took me awhile to get them working. Here’s the 2 issues I encountered and how to fix them – first make sure you have the 2.4 ghz internet. I had a dual band router that didn’t have a 2.4ghz channel – I went into my router and set up a separate guest account that only had 2.4 ghz. This worked. Next, make sure you see the flashing lights when syncing it. I didn’t have a switch for the light, so I literally went to my breaker, started either with the “on” or “off” set, then flashed it back and forth 3 times. It didn’t work one of the ways, but I did it again the other way (can’t remember which side worked – try both) and felt ecstatic seeing the lights flashing. It works, just experiment and once you get it, you’ll see these lights and the app are quite great.

Very Bright, Full Control using the App
Is it possible for a floodlight to be too bright? The answer is yes. The brightness is great if you want it, but you can also dim the light a bit using the app which is what I did. I bought this light to replace a similar, 3-head fixture that used an almost identical app to control it. As others have said, you need to operate this light using the app. There are no switches or settings on the light itself, which is perfectly fine with me. With 5 heads, you can get the right amount of light exactly where you need it. The PIR motion sensor is very sensitive and detects motion from a decent distance. My original light was mounted on a shallow electrical box which introduced a bit of a challenge in trying to tuck all of the wires in, but overall installation was easy. I use this light to trigger automations in Google Home, and it works great for that purpose.

Super Bright and SmartâGreat Over the Garage,Just Be Ready to Use the App
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I recently installed this Onforu 5-Head 120W Smart LED Security Light above my garage, and it’s been an excellent upgrade. The five adjustable heads are incredibly versatileâI have them angled to cover the driveway, front yard, and even a bit of the side yard.The brightness is seriously impressive, and being able to adjust the color temperature from a warm glow to a crisp daylight white is a big plus.The build quality feels solid, with aluminum housings and a clean, low-profile look. Itâs clearly built to handle the elements, and I expect it to hold up well through our Texas weather. What sets this apart is the smart control. I primarily use Alexa to control the light, but youâll definitely need the Onforu app to access all the featuresâlike motion sensitivity, dimming, color temperature, and scheduling. It connected to my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi without issue, and the app is pretty intuitive once you poke around a bit. Still, I wish there were basic physical controls for initial setupâyou canât even change the light temperature without using your phone. The motion detection works well, picking up movement at a good distance and triggering the lights reliably. I love the flexibility to fine-tune the settings to avoid unnecessary activations. Why 4 stars instead of 5? It loses a point for being entirely app-dependent out of the box. Some basic manual control wouldâve been a nice fallback. That said, once itâs set up, itâs a fantastic, customizable lighting solutionâperfect for anyone wanting smart features with serious brightness.Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Just be sure to download the app before heading up the ladder.

Great Motion LED Light w/app
This Onforu 5 Head 120W Smart LED Security Light is Great. I do have to say though, I wish you really could do all the adjustments without the app, but you do need the app for adjusting lighting and sensors. This Light can be very bright, but you can adjust the setting for that on the app. You can dim it so it’s not so bright. There are 5 different LED lights in a metal casing. You can adjust each light separately, going in any direction. You can also adjust the motion detection on the app and have it pick up motion where you want. This Light is very durable and sturdy, easy to install. The app took me a little bit to figure out, but basically it moderately easy.I put this on the corner of my garage and I can have some lights on the backyard and some on the driveway. I love that you can adjust each light separately and where you want, like some lights you can’t do that. This lights up just about all the backyard and driveway perfectly. I had to dim down the lights because it was just too bright….LOL. if that’s possible. Now I know when animals or anyone is in the driveway and backyard, because this light makes it known. Very pleased with this and would definitely get another one or more. This would be great for any area, home, garage, office, warehouse and so on.Price is Good. Highly Recommend it. Would make a nice gift idea too.
