Another great product from Onreva!
This is a great toolbox storage liner from a great brand. I have several of their products, and Iâve never been disappointed.They have several sizes to fit most tool chests on the market, but I prefer to get the larger sheets so I can have the most material to cut as I see fit for custom drawers. They come in varying depths and colors, too, spanning from 1â to 3â deep, and anywhere in between.Usually, the middle layer is colored, so when you cut off the top third, or even half, of the foam, youâre left with a colored silhouette to match the scheme of the tool thatâs stored there. They only have yellow, red, and blue, as far as I know, but those fit the majority of big name brands. Iâd like to see bluish-green for Makita, orange for Jorgensen and Rigid, and white for Hart; but this all-black is a nice addition for all the tools that donât belong to a major family line. The colors can also be used to match the tool chest theyâre used for, but I usually get black regardless of the brand, so for me it makes more sense to organize drawers by color to match the individual tools.I use yellow to store my Dewalt batteries and tools, red for Craftsman, and blue for Kobalt, but the black I can use for general-purpose, or no-brand name tools. None of that really matters much, but itâs nice to have a little color coordination, especially for people like me who fixate on details and order.Cutting is super easy, whether you use a knife, like a box cutter, or a foam cutter with groove attachment. Iâve done both, and I suggest using a sharp blade. The foam cutter can get âhungryâ really quickly, and if youâre not careful youâre likely to make a mess of it.The top layer is always black, so I keep fabric chalk on hand to draw the cutouts. Itâs important to plan ahead, lay out all the tools precisely the way you want them, and then just sit with that for a few days. Youâll likely want to make changes at some point, so give yourself time and just let the layout sink in, so you can make those changes before committing the first cut.The nature of this type of foam means itâs far more forgiving than you might expect. Small errors and jagged lines are difficult to see, so donât stress too much about trying to get it perfect.These inserts are a great upgrade for any tool chest, and theyâll take a good-looking shop and make it feel and look great, giving you confidence to do your best work, all while protecting your investment and helping you to stay organized. Thereâs no other brand I trust for my foam inserts. I highly recommend them.

3 large sheets of toolbox foam for tool organization
This foam is so awesome. I have the deeper drawers on my toolbox lined with thicker foam from this same company. I absolutely love having spots for all my tools. The one issue I had was that the thicker foam was too thick for the shallower drawers on my toolbox. This foam is absolutely perfect for those drawers. It’s not as thick but it is still layered and it’s still very easy to cut out the outlines for everything you want to fit.These are 3 very large sheets. All of my shallower drawers will be done before I use up even one sheet. I’ll probably use the other 2 sheets on some household drawers or see if I can use them in some of my universal firearm cases.The ONLY reason I took a star away is simply because of the price. I won’t say that this product isn’t worth it. This stuff is durable and versatile AND there is a lot of foam to work with, so it’s not an issue if you make a mistake and have to scrap some of it. It’s just a lot of money for an average person to spend on some foam. So price is literally my only real negative critique.

ONREVA Store: Polyethylene Foam, 48x24x1 inch, Solid Black Layer Foam for Custom Toolbox; Qty: 3I love this ONREVA Foam product. It is so great for creating custom liners for toolbox drawers. This foam product is a solid black product and the color is a true black and not the gray-black one usually sees in foam sheet products. I think it will look great with my DeWALT-brand 20V MAX cordless power tools inside my DeWALT TSTAK cases.This foam material is also great for creating custom interiors in TSTAK and PACKOUT cases, but you must be able to cut the layered foam to fit into the host case first. Cutting the ONREVA Foam to fit the toolbox drawers is a relatively simple matter since toolbox drawers are usually a rectangle and 90° angles are easy to deal with. Cutting the ONREVA Foam to fit a TSTAK or PACKOUT case is more difficult since the shape of the foam must take into account all of the angles included inside the storage case. Also, deeper tool storage cases tend to have an angle from the top to the bottom which must be accounted for, or the foam block will have a gap at the top surface. I have found that it is best to cut the ONREVA Foam layered foam larger than the area to be filled inside a case and even toolbox drawers, so that there is an interference fit. The tension from the interference fit will ensure that the foam layer will stay in place under all conditions.This ONREVA Foam product contains three (3) foam sheets that are 48-inches long, 24-inches wide, and 1.0-inches thick. Each piece of foam has four ¼â black layers for a grand total of one inch of thickness. This foam is a solid true black and it looks great inside a TSTAK case. It also looks great inside a PACKOUT case where the red case and the black foam product contrast very nicely. This is an absolutely great product for creating custom storage positions for tools inside a toolbox or tool case.One thing I particularly like about this ONREVA Foam product is that since this product is polyethylene foam, it will not decompose over time the way that polyurethane foam will. Additionally, the polyethylene foam will not dissolve if oil gets on it like some other foam products will (particularly polyurethane foam). I really like this product. It is really great stuff.
