Better than OPI Nail Envy
I have nail psoriasis which is an absolute nightmare. I usually wear Kiss Impress when I want long nails. Iâm giving my nails a break and tried this. Itâs amazing. My nails are stronger after two weeks. Also, dries quickly. I used OPI Nail Envy for years; this is better.

Buy this if you have a hands-on job
This stuff goes crazy! I struggle with my nails chipping, peeling, and breaking a lot, so I bought this to try to protect my nails now that I’ve finally managed to grow them out a bit. I work in a restaurant and we’re going through deep cleaning in the kitchen right now to prepare for a corporate visit. I was literally scrubbing with and without gloves on, hot and cold water, using various caustic cleaning chemicals for a period of about 10 hours on the same day I put this stuff on my nails. I was expecting at least one nail to break, but all of my nails are completely intact! Not only that but they feel stronger than ever! Will be recommending this product to everyone I know who works with their hands

Much better than others and still inexpensive
I have tried other similar products and this one is significantly better and reasonably priced. When the coating of other products start wearing off, my nails would be just as weak or cracked. With Orly, my nails are still stronger and less prone to cracking even after it wears down.

Very good product! Seems to help with splitting nails. Be careful using it as an undercoat, however. It seemed to make my polish bubble.

Best thing ever for weak nails!
I have used Orly Nail Defense for many years. My nails so easily break, split, and often tear down into the quick. Yes, I take lots of vitamins, but my nails are weak and ridged no matter what.I discovered Nail Defense and have used it continuously – for at least 10 years and maybe longer. I used to get it at Sallyâs Beauty Supply, but many Sallyâs closed. Even before that it started being hard to find it even if I found a store open.Then I discovered I could buy it from Amazon. No problem since. I always have two or three bottles.The only problem, and itâs not enough to keep me from loving it, is that when the bottle gets low it becomes hard to get the brush in the product, and it gets thick. At that point, itâs barely usable.But I still think it is the best thing out there to protect weak nails like mine. A few coats and theyâre as hard as an artificial nail, and I can grow long nails as long as I want if I use it often. If you want polish, it goes on so smoothly with Nail Defense underneath.

This product was just ok for me. I didn’t feel it worked any better than other base and/or top coats I’ve used. It did apply easily and dried quickly. I did not keep my manicure from chipping any moer or less than other products.

I was a bit sceptical, but I have used this 3 times now and for me itâs great. It doesnât wear off like a certain other well known brand and it works brilliantly as a base coat. I painted my nails over a week ago and they still look fresh. I have noticed that they arenât breaking as much even after having hands in water.
