Great Outdoor fan! You wonât be disappointed!
So I installed this fan yesterday in our 12 x16 gazebo. The install was pretty easy since it was going outside and I didnât have to worry about the normal in house wiring issues. The unit was light allowing me to secure it overhead by myself. Iâm glad it came with 3 different downrods. I wound up using the longest downrod so the blades would clear the gazeboâs roof. It is about 7â 4â from the patio floor to the underside of the light housing. From the mounting point to underside of the light housing is about 29 & 1/2â using the longest rod. Itâs steady and well balanced so it doesnât vibrate. It moves air throughout the space . I saw one of the reviewers said that her blades were drooping after a couple months. To me, the blades appear to be upside down in the photo. Make sure the that the top side is facing up (theyâre marked), or they will in fact look droopy. The fan is very quiet and I only hear it on 6 and even that is from the blades, not the motor. Itâs convenient that you can reverse the blade direction through the remote rather than having to climb up and flip a switch like in the older ceiling fans. I havenât seen the light at night yet because we had a bad thunderstorm as I was finishing up. But I think it will be more than enough light and a perfect compliment to the patio lights we already have. The remote doesnât appear to be waterproof so Iâll probably put it in a ziplock baggie so I can leave it on the patio. The only issue I have is that I should have waited an extra day for prime day!

A great option for outdoor entertainment
I think this fan does exactly what it says it does, and so far I’ve enjoyed it on my outdoor patio for two weeks.It gives a pretty good breeze for the immediate area- I would estimate that its range is about a 10-15 foot airflow, which covers a regular 4 – to – 6 person table.The remote control has a few too many options for my liking, but functions as it should. My favorite button is the 2 hour timer, which turns off all functions after two hours (I would have liked to see more of these options).Installation was not bad by any means, but I did have some questions. The instructions show a different model (which is always a blast), and the diagram and pictures differ on how the blades connect to the motor. In the end, it appeared to have extra parts attached to the blades for shipping, and the fan operates absolutely fine without those attachments.If you can overlook that hiccup, you’ll install it without issue.

Iâm so dissatisfied with this fan. I purchased the fan on April 16, 2025. Today is June 14, 2025 and as you can see by the picture, the blades are drooping exponentially. Very disappointed and worse yet, there is a 30 day limit on returning, therefore, there is nothing I can do about this. I truly hoped this would be an answer to the heat problem. The only good quality I can think of is the ease of installation was excellent. I donât want to be completely negative, but in all honesty it doesnât cool well at all. I wanted to be able to write a five star review But thatâs impossible considering this unit is just 2 MONTHS OLD!

After shopping for a new pergola and realizing there was such a product out there for this type of application, I was all over this outdoor fan that is remote controlled.This fan comes nicely packages to prevent any damage while in transit. All components and instructions are present.It comes with 3 different lengths of down rods to install at the perfect height for where you want to hang it. All of the components to this fan feel of quality build and that it will weather well. Was pretty easy to install, and uses your standard 120V electrical outlet for convenience. Once installed securely and plugged in, we put this to the test.It has really good airflow and also is surprisingly quiet, so you wonât be disturbed by a bunch of extra noise pollution while enjoying a peaceful time on your patio. You can adjust the speed as well as the direction with just a press of the buttons on your remote. The lighting is also controlled easily from the remote control and offers up a variety of dimness and color temperatures to ensure the ambience is just right. There is also a timer feature, I donât use it as I just use the remote when I want to use it and turn it off the same.So far I am really enjoying both the look and the function of this great patio fan.

I’m really impressed with this big outdoor ceiling fan. It’s weather resistant and I’ve installed it in the large pergola in my backyard, using a standard 120V electrical outlet. The fan is incredibly quiet, even when it’s running at full speed. I can turn the light on and off, adjust its intensity and color, and control both the blade speed and direction with the remote. I also love that I can set a 1, 2 or 4 hour timer for an automatic shut off. The remote is very responsive, though I’ve found the stepless dimming for the light isn’t always consistent, sometimes requiring a second press to adjust. That’s a minor issue, though, as the lighting is excellent and bright enough for my 14′ x 14′ gazebo. The airflow from the three blades is fantastic, I can feel a significant difference in my space. It’s been working perfectly with no wobble since I installed it, and it’s been a lifesaver during these hot summer days. Everything I needed for the installation was included, from clips to secure the cord to concrete anchors for a safe and sturdy setup. The three different sized downrods were a great addition, letting me get the perfect hanging height. This is a quality product that works exceptionally well.

Iâm really happy with this ceiling fan, itâs been a great addition to my patio and you never really know you need one till you have one, and not its a luxury and a must have anytime we are on the patio lo. The airflow is strong but super quiet, so it keeps the space comfortable without that annoying hum some fans have. I like that I can switch the direction for winter and summer, and the lighting options are actually way more useful than I expected. Being able to change the brightness and color temperature means it works just as well for a cozy evening as it does for brighter daytime use. The remote makes it easy to tweak settings without getting up, and installation wasnât bad at all. It feels sturdy, looks good, and works exactly the way I hoped.
