Good connectivity, even in the country.
This is our second owlet purchase and we could not recommend these cameras more. I love that this one has a cry notification setting. It can also record, if you want it to, when motion, sound or crying is detected. Our older model doesnât offer that and we really love that feature. Picture quality is usually great, depending on our internet but we live in the country so it can be a little spotty. That being said, the owlet app keeps up well and always functions and stays connected even if our internet is a little slower in some days.

Impressed update disappointed night vision failing
Update********12/03/23Iâve had this unit for little over a week and have recently been experiencing problems with the night vision no longer working or needing constant reset and pairing leading me to feel this product is unreliable. If youâre using this camera for night purposes it may be best to invest elsewhere.Purchased this camera on black Friday for 50$ and I have no regrets. The quality was better than expected it comes with a mouth if you wish to attach it to the wall and if your using for a play pen the bottom of the monitor is magnetic so it just attaches itself to it. I love how it tells if the temperature is appropriate or needs to be adjusted. To set up wasnât difficult and fast the app it wants you to download walks you through

Please do your research before buying!! I purchased this for my baby girl as we were transitioning her to her own crib/room. I saw it was owlet brand and the price and assumed it would be a good quality monitor. After not even a month Iâve had so many issues and they just keep getting worse. The camera will randomly disconnect all the time. I will wake up in the middle of the night and it just says âcould not connectâ no video or sound coming out. So I have no idea if my baby had been crying. You have to exit out of the app and reopen it sometimes for over 20 minutes before you can get it to reconnect. When it is connected sometimes there is no picture⦠just a grey screen with a loading symbol. The audio sometimes cuts out. I am sleeping and I cannot hear a sound machine and realize there has not been no sound coming out at all. Also it lacks very badly. At first sometimes it was only 5 seconds. I would hear a cry from her room and then a few seconds later I would hear the same cry on the app. Not too big of a deal but sometimes itâs bad enough to where I lay her down, grab something to drink and some pick up my phone to check on her and it shows an empty crib. It had no updated me setting her into it. Also my final issue is that it freezes without you knowing. Onetime I was actively watching her while she was napping and she seemed asleep but then her eufy so I base was lighting up like she was moving. She was awake and crying and I had no idea because the image showed a sleeping baby. I will be returning and purchasing a different one. I canât sleep peacefully knowing something could be wrong with my baby and I would have no idea because this monitor only wants to work sometimes.

A must have for all moms with post PPA
The Nanit gave me piece of mind as a new mom with postpartum anxiety, I was able to sleep a little better knowing that I would be alerted if there was a problem! We still use it to this day and our baby is almost 2 years old! I love you can see the sleep patterns. I can usually tell if my kid is sick before she starts to really show signs because Nanit shows their breaths per minute and if itâs high she usually has a fever! Itâs been soooo amazing!

I love this camera. It has great quality, reads the temperature and humidity in the room, notifies me when there is movement or sound/ cryWe take it everywhere. Only flaw is it doesnât always connect with WiFi while traveling

Does a decent job!
We bought 2 of these to help us discretely monitor my grandmother who has dementia. Have had them for about 2 weeks, and so far I can say they work decently well & she doesnât seem to be bothered by them.PROS:+Easy to setup if youâre placing it on a surface & not up high (more install required up high).+Video quality & sound input are alright (you can adjust these a bit in the app).+The night vision feature is helpful so we & the caregivers can see if/when sheâs wandering after bedtime.+2-way talk feature! We havenât used this just yet to talk to my grandma, but weâve used it to talk to the caregivers or each other easily when one of us is away from home.+Can check the app & view the footage anytime, anywhere.+Private & only people connected to your account/device can view the video.CONS:-Bluetooth pairing took a few tries. You have to make sure your phone & the cam are connected to the same WiFi.-Only 1 device & 1 account can pair to the cam. (HOWEVERâWe found a way to work around this. We each installed the app on our phones, but weâre each logged into the same account. The newer Cam 2 version does allow for multiple devices/accounts, I believe).-2 way talk volume is SO QUIET & no way to adjust it. But Iâm sure thatâs because you wouldnât want to scare an infant with a loud voice. Still would be nice to be able to adjust.-No audio/video recording feature. But again, the newer Cam 2 version I believe does have that option.Overall a good device & experience so far! May buy again if we need another.

Works well most of the time but does disconnect from wifi occasionally which is very frustrating as it doesn’t always reconnect easily. Video and sound quality is very good though.

Most disappointing buy for my baby! 3-5 second lag in the video output and the features being offered are quite basic for the fact the video goes back to server for processing.
