Beefy low end at a great price!
This sound bar is exactly what I was looking for. I searched the big box stores and only found a couple options, but both of them had dangerously exposed speakers. Not good for what I plan to do with it.I’m using this speaker for a portable rig that travels with m, so it needs to be moved around and thrown into a box. The speakers are inside the unit and totally protected, so I can throw it around without worrying about a delicate speaker getting poked.This is an all-in-one speaker. Stereo sound plus built in low end. No sub needed. Plenty of clean volume. It has all the connections I need…especially optical. It comes with a IR remote, but you can also operate it completely with buttons on the unit.Best of all, the price is right!

It’s huge
Now I’m not a tech person and I haven’t used any other sound bar before so I can’t compare one to another, but this does a pretty good job. First it does come with all the cords so don’t be like me and buy another optical cord thinking it wouldn’t have it, because mine did. Now it is not a very long cord so if you’re planning to have it farther from your tv (like on a different shelf on a stand, etc) you may want to buy a longer cord. Since I’ve never hooked one up I was worried I wouldn’t know how. It took me a min to find the right plugs in the back being it’s an older flat screen, but I did and hooked up all the cords within about 2 mins. The bar itself is a little heavy, and bulky. As you can see in the pic it is almost as long as my TV and does take a good chunk of the front of my stand up. Once hooked up the sound for us is good and we can hear our shows much better. I didn’t have my TV speakers turned to audio so when I went to mute the sound I’d have to do both the bar and TV so make sure you turn your TV speakers to Audio so that it just comes through the bar. Again I’m sure there are sleeker speakers out there that aren’t as big and maybe have better sound but this was a great price and does what we want so for now we are happy.

Needs to use the provided remote to do it all.
I do not like having to turn the sound bar off separately. Could there be a timer to shut it off or somehow get it to work with the Samsung TV remote?The sound is great and once I figured out how to remove the little end cover from the Optical cable(via answer by another owner) all worked out just fine.Again, using the supplied remote is just a bugger that makes it a pain to wok with-this unit performs well and the sound can really get up there.I found that the unit has a sleep mode that enters when a TV is off for a while and that is a very good valuable feature.I wish the manual used a larger font.I will need a Bluetooth transmitter in order to use the Bluetooth connectivity of this product so I probably will continue to use the optical connection. This is a very good product and it’s priced properly.I still await a response to my technical support email.

I LOVE this sound bar NOW!
This is a redo ~ A friend set up my sound bar week ago Sunday. (Anything tech related gives me brain freeze). Monday the sound bar went from whisper to deafening, seemingly on it’s own. I was reduced to turning off sound bar and using audio from another TV in another room for viewing in living room. Yesterday another friend came by, took a look, removed all the wiring that came with OSX sound bar and reconnected the single wire I’d used with the older, now replaced sound bar to the smart TV. NOW I love the OXS! Actually, it looks better than the old one, the sound is magnificent and almost sounds like it’s surround sound ~ all this without a separate woofer! Truthfully I like this sound bar much better than I liked the original Samsung it replaced. Best $99.00 I’ve ever spent.

Broke after 6 months
Sounded good for the first couple of months, but it just recently stopped working. It has started making a buzzing sound, and then will not make any sound at all. If I turn it off and let it rest for about an hour, it sometimes starts working again, but the buzzing comes back after about 20 minutes, and then it stops again.There’s no contact information that I can find on the company website, and it’s past the 30 day return. I can’t find any information about a warranty. I thought there was one when I bought it, I guess I didn’t look carefully enough.I got it in late October, it’s now mid May. So barely 6 months of use.

Great speaker
I am going from just using my television speakers on my Samsung TV to the sound bar. Wow! What a difference. Itâs exactly as described. The sound quality is wonderful and connecting. It was very easy. All I did was plug in the optical cord, and the power cord. The sound is great and I love it has a built-in subwoofer. I found myself often going to max level on my television volume and this sound bar makes all the difference. In addition, I can still use the volume on my Samsung television as an added sound bonus. I am really happy with this purchase.

Not as good as desired
I bought the product when I purchased a new large screen Samsung TV. The system was easy to connect for the most part and tends to connect automatically most of the time which is very convenient. But the remote control is a problem: it stopped working! I thought it was just eating up batteries quickly. But we changed the batteries and it still did not work. Unable to get assistance through Amazon (return period expired and no other assistance available). None of the links or directions were helpful — they all lead to, you guessed it, “the return date has expired.” Now I have to figure out how to purchase ANOTHER remote two months after purchase. I am hoping an online search will be more helpful.

Posso dire che ho fatto veramente un buon acquisto. E arrivata nei tempi di consegna designati il collegamento e veramente facile e le sue funzioni sono veramente strordinarie a partire dai film che adesso mi posso veramente godere di vedere e anche collegata al mio giradischi fa veramente la sua bella funzione. P.S allo stesso prezzo ci sarebbe stata quella della LG ma non aveva le stesse funzioni sarebbe stata solo una semplice Soundbar.

I own a Canadian Tire brand “Skyworth” TV. It has all of the sound coming out of the back of the TV (which travels upstairs to the bedroom area where people are sleeping) and that is predominantly background music and what I call trash noise in the background of TV shows. Think pounding, drumming, crashing sounds. I have a very difficult time hearing the voices/conversation. I plugged in this speaker bar, connected via bluetooth and it overrides the TV speakers completely and projects the conversation towards me without the background noise. There is a slight lag from the visual to the spoken word but it completely fixed the horrific speaker situation I had before so I can deal with that! Very simple and basic and FIXED my issues.

It works great with the TV and blue tooth, sounds great. Although, it’s best to plug this in a wall outlet instead of a power bar because you may hear a buzzing sound otherwise.
