Excellent Hold and Comfort for My Grandma!
I purchased this denture adhesive cream for my grandma, and she absolutely loves it! She said it seals very well and keeps her dentures firmly in place all day without any slipping. It gives her the confidence to eat, speak, and smile without worry.She also mentioned that it’s comfortable to wear, doesnât irritate her gums, and is easy to apply. Seems to work great I only have to apply it once a day generally last from 6:30 in the morning until about nine at night unless Iâm eating something like steak or ribs or corn on the cob

Extremely strong seal, hard to remove.
I had been looking for some denture glue that would seal out food and have really good adhesion without any flavors. I had tried some others before and I couldn’t get past having flavor that altered the taste of my food. This one is excellent for that! It does the best job I’ve ever had for sealing food out from under my dentures and for holding them in place when I eat some thing that is really tough or hard or crispy. I was even able to eat a candy that was made of very sticky caramel and pecans. My dentures did not budge and the tiny pieces of nuts did not get underneath.However, even though the packaging says it holds for 12 hours, I have found that it holds for over 24 hours and I have had occasions when I tried to remove it before 24 hours where it actually tore some skin off with the glue. And, when I finally get the dentures out there is a massive amount of glue left in my mouth. After it has been in my mouth for many hours, has the consistency and appearance of rubber cement! It sometimes takes me up to 15 minutes to get all of the glue out of my mouth after I remove the dentures.I will keep using it because it doesn’t alter the taste of food and it sticks really good and seals food out. However, be warned That you may have some difficulty getting all of the glue out of your mouth when you remove the dentures.

I have very ‘challenging’ situations with both my upper and lower partial-dentures, and the comfort and ‘hold’ of both must be perfect! If not, life is a misery, and before long you find yourself not even putting your dentures in at all.I’d used a different Polygrip adhesive before, along with at least one other from another company, but there was always something deficient with either the fit, the comfort, or the hold — and the duration OF the hold. But then I found this Polygrip 12-hour power hold and seal adhesive, and to my delight it is everything I hoped for!A couple of suggestions for all denture wearers:1. Clean you dentures thoroughly every single day, making certain to get all the old adhesive off before you soak them overnight.2. Follow the instructions carefully — and that means drying the dentures completely before applying the new coating of adhesive. ALSO — swish your mouth out with water right before insertion of the dentures. I find it adds greatly to overall comfort and freedom from pain if I do NOT try to wipe the inside of my mouth dry before insertion. Leave it exactly as it is AFTER you have ‘swished your mouth, even though there will naturally be some moisture on the gum surfaces. For me this is much more comfortable than intensely drying the gum surfaces first… try it!Anyway, blah-blah, this is the best denture adhesive I have found in 13 years of wearing partial dentures and I recommend it over all others!
