    I absolutely love this!
Alright, I’m gonna try not to gush here but I really, really love this thing. I have built model kits of all types for years. I have a pretty nice setup dedicated to hobbies but sometimes you just want to sit on the couch w/ your partner or friends, watch a movie, and still work on your hobbies. That’s precisely what this is for and it performs flawlessly.First things first, it’s actually quite a bit smaller than I anticipated. Nothing needs to be built when you receive it. The only options are to plug in the light and magnifier (which features a second light) and deciding which side you want the nipper holder on. Other than that, you’re good to go out of the box. I decided to give it a go right away. Threw a movie on, got comfortable on the couch, and started building some Warhammer models.Immediately, I was impressed with the light! It’s BRIGHT. The goose neck is ultra flexible but stays put. It’s very easy to position it in a useful way, out of your work area but illuminating exactly what/where you want. (I’m using the actual light but I also tested the magnifier, it’s cool!, but the real light is just so much more useful and I don’t need the magnification.) I’m very picky about lighting, I like to make sure my clean up for models is perfect before priming or adding any paint. Nothing frustrates me more than having to go back and fix something. This is bright enough where I never felt like I needed ‘more.’ That was originally a concern.Another minor concern I had was the tray being open and slightly ‘perforated.’ I have built 25 Games Workshop minis and have not had any issues w/ parts catching or slipping in and having to fish them out. Well designed. Catches the dust and small nubs but doesn’t mess with your parts.Overall, this just works. The battery, once charged, will last a few hours w/ the light on. Again, awesome! It’s small enough to fit comfortably in your lap but give you enough workspace where you don’t feel too cramped. Now, on to the criticisms. 1. The nipper holder just doesn’t work? Nippers pop out. At least the ones I use. I cycle through three main nippers, God Hands, USA Gundam Store, and a cheaper pair from Amazon that mirrors those designs. Nippers just don’t stay in. No big deal. 2. There is no real mechanism to keep your instructions pinned to the lid. It comes w/ two steel bars that just… sit there? I thought maybe there would be some way to magnetize them to keep your instructions in place but there isn’t. No big deal, I’m going to use some strong magnets and do it on my own but it’s a little annoying. 3. You won’t want to use this for super complicated kits. Even with Gunpla. You can’t get around the fact that you’ll have to have your sprues… somewhere? If you’re fine having a big fat stack of runners next to you, go nuts, but I think this is best suited for building things in sections or small models w/ only a couple of sprues.Overall, I like this WAY too much and have already used it A TON. I will continue to use it A TON. This allows me to multi-task my hobbies and get more done w/o feeling like I’m isolating myself in my dedicated hobby space. Love it.I think a good benchmark for anything you own is … if you lost or had it stolen, would you get another? I’d get another of these immediately. It’s such a quality of life improvement for my hobby and life that I really can’t see myself w/o something like this in my kit now.

Super impressed with this product. It fills a hyper specific niche. If you are looking for something that’ll make your model building experience better this is it.There were a few things I was worried about:1. I was worried the magnifying glass was going to be blurry since it’s made of plastic. Its actually very clear and a decent power. I wish the power was a bit higher, but it’s at a level that’s very comfortable to look at with both eyes. The light is pretty perfect too. Not too bright to encourage eye strain. You can see a picture of a Szalamandra from Infinity.2. The touch controls work. You don’t have to fight them as with so many cheap products.3. All of my nippers fit well into the attachment. My Xurons, Tamiya sharp pointed side cutters, and my Godhands. They all fit in there well.4. It’s got a battery! I can build in front of the TV if I wanted to. It charges using a USB C port.5. It is very expensive but there is value to this product if you build miniatures. You can tell this was built by hobbyists for hobbyists. To me it feels like a premium product created by people with love for the hobby. It’s just a nice hobby product that works as advertised. Which is pretty rare for some reason.

    Great workspace, middling accessories
This is an excellent portable workspace for building models on the go. About the size of a small laptop, sized to fit a few basic tools or the included flexible lights in the collection tray and that’s it. Keep your models and critical tools in a small pencil case to the side and you can easily take this to the office, on road trips, or set aside to turn a small table or desk into an efficient workspace without fear of mess or damage.1 Star removed for 2 minor issues: the chargeable battery doesn’t last long enough with the included LED lights (only 3-4 hours) which can be a problem in poorly lit workplaces, though the lights themselves are excellent. Also, the storage/collection tray isn’t large enough to contain the tool holsters when being transported, which makes those difficult to use of the primary purpose of this workstation is to be carried around in a backpack or bag.

LOVE this for crafting and drilling
My housemate makes and paints miniatures and I do resin crafting. I got a similar model from a different brand that doesn’t have the light and magnifier. I don’t do as much detailed stuff as my housemate does so I mainly use the other one and my housemate uses this one more, but we have each used both of them and think that this one is better because of the light and magnifier.I like that the shavings and drill debris falls into the drawer which is easy to pull out and empty. The drawer on my other workbench is difficult to pull out and can be frustrating. The holes are a good size for dust and debris, and I keep a small brush handy to clean debris off the platform into the holes. The pliers holders are easy to attach and to remove. I don’t like leaving them on when I am not using the box if I plan to carry it around or stack it with my crafting supplies as they tend to snag things and get in the way.The small cutting board is a nice inclusion. We use that more than the actual workbench. For what it is, the box feels a bit pricey, but it gets the job done very well and has been an invaluable tool to have. The plastic is a good thickness and it doesn’t look or feel cheap.

    Is it worth the money?
Not a bad product in all, but tray could be a bit taller to carry the light and magnifying glass. A positive is the brightness of the light is great for the size. I do like that it has its own power so you don’t need to keep it pluged in.Overall, my thought is it’s not worth the money, this is more of a 60 dollar item, not over 100….

    Awesome for detail work!
I got this for my son-in-law who does work on miniatures and things with tiny little circuits. He has said it works great! The different clamps hold things in place, and the lighting is great.
