Solid, with a few caveats
This is a good organizer for a few tools. It’s definitely sturdy, and easy to assemble, despite the very minimal instructions.The good:- Can hold 4 power tools at the bottom – either if it’s a drill from the top, or another tool that takes a battery upside down- Can accommodate some customization – 3 different positions of the middle shelf, plus decide which side to put the side caddys on- Power access- Ample space for batteries/accessoriesThe not so good:- You really need to be sure exactly where you install this. Based on where my stud was, and available wall space, I actually flipped the power strip for the cord to be on the right side. Since this is the ONLY place you can mount the power strip, you need to be very much aware of the accessories that have a brick as a plug, and not a standard plug. That means you need to know which plugs must be side facing, and which ones need to be front facing.- You lose a bit of space if you do run wires in the supplied holes. Obviously this is just in the design.- If you want a power cord to go through the bottom shelf, it will interfere with your hanging tools. They did not design this part well. You have no choice but to run the cord in one of the open slots, which may or may not interfere with your tool if it has a thick cord.- You will need at least 2 anchors. This does not fit perfectly on 2 studs.Worth $50? probably not. Wait for it to go on sale or have a coupon.
