This well crafted and premium version safety orange push block & stick set includes 3 push blocks ( one long and two short ) and 2 push sticks ( one straight push stick and one v stick ). The V-shaped push stick ( sometimes called a V-type push stick or v-shaped putter ) is great when extruding, or needing to exert a more detailed control on your work piece, or if needing to get really close to the blade. The push blocks ( often called push pads ) are essential for use on routers, jointers and table saws. The straight push stick is great for narrow stock or when space is limited.

Excellent Assortment of Versatile Grippers/Push-Sticks
This is an excellent set of push sticks and grippers. I use them on my table saw, router table, and my jigsaw table. Good quality, easy to grip. With this set, you can handle just about anything. I actually used them to help me hold aluminum siding in place while screwing it in. Very versatile. An excellent gift for the woodworker or DIYer in your family.

I returned or threw away every other push stick. The price and ease of use of each push device was great. The flat surfaces actually cling to the wood and the narrow push sticks are great for smaller pieces.

Bad Design
Bought this for a birthday gift for family member starting out, thinking itâd be easier for him initially, and instead of making his own jig. Device is a bit flimsy, but thatâs what you get for your money these days. The use of round head bolts to hold the stop in place has to be one of the stupidest designs Iâve seen. Placement of wood along the rail is automatically out of flush due to the head of the bolt protruding from the rail wall, creating a gap other reviewers have mentioned. I cut a short piece of 1x and ran wood screws from the other side of the rail to hold it in place. Youâll benefit from using a feather jig in a miter slot and bring it in snug against the cut piece to ensure the it stays snug against the fence. Tool tends to wander otherwise, as lightweight as it is. Years ago I made a crosscut sliding jig with slot rails attached, complete with adjustable angle rest and stops for better accuracy. There are dozens of patterns online now for making your own, and likely better than mine. Lastly, to get around the challenge of cutting so close to the jig at the end of your pass, attach a longer stop, and use a straight piece of scrap wood as a spacer between your cut piece and the rail. Youâll complete the cut further up on the pass, and further away from the blade.

Safe and Reliable for Table Saw Work
I purchased the POWERTEC push block specifically for use with my table saw, and itâs been a great addition to my setup. It gives me a solid grip and helps keep my hands at a safe distance while pushing material through the blade.The build quality is great, and the bottom has just the right amount of grip to hold the wood steady. Itâs comfortable to use and adds an extra level of safety and control to every cut. Highly recommend for anyone working with a table saw!

I’ve recently acquired a table saw so I could cut acrylic sheets to make display cases. And while it wasn’t difficult to move the sheets through the blade, I wanted something that gave me a better feel of pressure and direction to help keep things solidly against the fence.These seemed like they should do well, so I gave them a shot, at the price I figured if they didn’t work well I wasn’t out anything.Easy to grip, and the pads on the bottom do a great job of keeping a firm grip on the material as I move it through. I find it’s easier to keep steady pressure in all the right directions and can move it more smoothly through the cuts now.
