Great value; terrific little appliance
I hardly ever leave a review but this product surely deserves it. I cannot find even one fault to criticize. The dials are easy to use. One can adjust temp during cooking and temperature seems to be equivalent to a regular oven. It’s large enough to fit in a loaf pan. The appliance itself fits on a place mat yet does so much in so little space. 5 stars for sure. Would give it more if I could.

Work Great but smaller than it looks
I’m reviewing the smaller toaster (model #31265) which I bought to have something a bit more versitile. I went back and forth on this model VS the larger one (model#31275) due to a lack of counter space . Spoiler alert: I ended up ordering the larger one after trying this one.Pros:- Very compact and super simple to use- Air fryer actually worked. Some people were saying it wasnt as effective as a dedicated air fryer which is probably true but it made amazing and tender chicken breasts in a few minutes and the same with some salmon.- Toast and broiler do the job fine.Cons:- This is VERY small internally. That might be a good thing if you’re doing small partial meals for one. Anything you put inside is going to be very close to the upper or lower elements. Forget about cooking pizza or any thicker cut of meat or poultry in the small model.- No bottom crumb tray. I suppose they didn’t include that due to the size but that means crumbs and drips go all over the place.- Tray is IMPOSSIBLE to clean. I cooked chicken in the airfryer and some grease dripped onto the catch tray. usually this makes a black spot that scrubs off with a brillo after soaking. not this one. Half a day of soaking and scrubbing and the tray is still stained. My work around is to line the tray with aluminum foil and change frequently.Possible issue:One common complaint is the timer isn’t digital so it’s not exact. I set the timer on the toaster and set the timer on my oven to match. They eneded up very close but not exact. Personally, I think if you’re making some recipe that is incredibly sensitive in a toaster oven you might want to consider your life choices . For me it worked fine and I just kept and eye and if I needed to be sure of something being closer to time than not I’d use an external timer and take the toaster for what it is. FWIW the icon indicating the darkness of toast seemed pretty accurate to me too :)Again, I traded in the smaller one for the larger and am happy with that. It comes with a better layout of air fry tray and liner (and crumb tray on the bottom) . It’s really not that much larger on the counter and and the front is slanted so the design saves space. The internal area of the larger one is just right for making a small meal and the controls are super simple. I anticipate using this for almost everything I cook now unless I’m baking or need the full size oven. And I REALLY like the airfry option and appreciate not having to have yet another applicance on the counter just for that.If you’re looking for a versitile toaster/Oven/airfryer this is a great one. I read a lot of reviews before settling on this Proctor Silex model. most other brand reviews compained the air fry didn’t work at all and many had issues after a few weeks. This model says it has a three year warrenty to boot so while that doesn’t help if it dies and you need to use it right away at least they stand behind it a bit. So far it’s been in use a lot and is solid. Will update if there are changes.

Works good
It was hard for me to clean my traditional oven, so I searched for this. Works great! I can cook a Tombstone pizza and it comes out perfect everytime. Easy to clean. Only downfall is the cord is too short, so it limits it to where I can use it.

Great toaster oven, not a good air fryer.
This is a decent product as a toaster oven. It is not a good air fryer. Great for making pizza, it’s big enough for most frozen pizzas. Good for toast, and generally heating things up. I’ve cooked frozen bisquits in it, but they take a lot longer. But making frozen fries, not so much. The accuracy of the temperature controls are questionable. My biggest problem is that the bottom doesn’t slide out or open at all. It is a real pain to clean the bottom when debris falls down there. Sure you could use the little insert sliding pan, but then you get a lot less heat from the bottom burner.

Emeril Lagasse vs Proctor Silex BOOM!
I had the Emeril super duper air fryer toaster oven for 3 years and loved it. But the heating element went out and wouldnât be cost effective replace. I was ready to buy another fit $189 but saw the Proctor Silex for 1/3 the price. Both products are basically a toaster oven with a fan. We used to call them convection ovens but Air Fryer sounds sexier and they can charge more money. The main difference between the two is Emeril has a digital control and the PS is old fashion knobs. For $120 difference Iâll live with the knobs. I have no complaints about Mr Lagasses air fryer. I loved it. But the PS works just as well. Exactly the same size. The racks are interchangeable. The PS extended the back wall a little so you can cook a larger frozen pizza. I saved $120!

Works really well
I have no issues with this at all. I’ve used the air fryer and it gets most fries and chicken nuggets done in 15 minutes. Also made pizza in it, pretty much in the time recommended on the package. But of course for toast it’s invaluable.

Stopped working after 1 year
The heating elements of this toaster have stopped turning on. It has barely been a year since I purchased it. I have a 90s Black and Decker ToastROven made in the US that still works to this day. I am only giving this one 2 stars because this was a good toaster before it just stopped working. It toasted fairly fast, not as fast as the old black and decker though. It also is compact. I had a difficult time finding a toaster that seemed like it was quality and would toast quickly while also being compact. The new ones are either extremely large or under-powered with one heating element and/or seem like dangerous junk that has to be watched at all times to avoid a hazard. This one had the attributes I was looking for, but unfortunately, the build quality appears to be very poor. I wish manufacturers would build things to last like they used to.Edit:After I looked inside I realized that the wire to the heating element had burned off. It is the exact same issue as another reviewer mentioned. It seems likely that they know about this issue but haven’t recalled this defective model. I am updating my review to 1 star.

Toaster with a very weak fan, no noticeable air fry ability.
