Perfect for small tractor
This small tool box was precisely what I needed for my new Massey Ferguson GC1710. I used one of the pre-drilled holes in the box and added a second one in order to match the existing holes on the side of my loader frame. It is made of much thicker steel than I expected, it is of very good quality. I did not have to paint it as it matched my new tractor well. I cut a small layer of tool box drawer liner material for the bottom as cushion and to prevent tools from rattling. The box is 10 inches long, 4 inches wide and 5 inches high, perfectly sized for a subcompact GC1710 tractor and very handy for a few tools to keep on the machine, I have one on each side.

A couple design flaws. To pricey.
I gave it a three because….In the sample pic by the seller. They show three holes one of which looks to be on the bottom. I gave 3 stars because theirs’s 8 holes in the back. See photo. Should have just let guys drill their own holes.I have a backhoe on my Massey Ferguson. So I will be mounting the box on the fender None of the 8 holes in the back will be used. I’ll have to seal them.The piano hinge in the top back wall is going to let water in the top at the back wall.They couldv’e used two or thee hinges that were tack welded. This would have made the top completely sealed from rain.One reason I bought it is because I did not see any thing on top that could leak. ðI didn’t realize the piano hinge would leak, until seeing it.I don’t really like the latch. You’ll need a cotter pin to hold it closed.I would have preferred a twist typeThe box is not a real thick metal. But it’s ok.Shipping is fast . Packaged very well.A week after this review. I found one at Rual King for $25.00.It’s made much better. It’s designed with no holes. It comes with a bracket and mounting hardware.Red, Green, and Orange.

Heavy Duty steel
It came in early from the estimated delivery date. Shipped in a thin box with no padding the corner of the box had taken a hit and taped back up, but no damage to the Tool Box. I had hoped for a Red or Black one but got a Gray one, I can paint to match. The mounting holes are off set which is strange, maybe the design is for mounting on specific tractors?All that said, this box is heavy and made from thicker steel than my carry tool boxes and extremely impressive. Thicker than original older Massey Ferguson or Ford came out with, this is a tough box. The latch at the top clicks well and is a push to the side type (offset) which should stay latched better than most. The size is not big and not small, just right for what I need. The mounting holes will do well too as I will fabricated a mounting bracket to fit my RK55 Tractor. The color is the only reason for the 4 Star rating, this is a 5 Star design and build.

As with everything this company sells we get one basic picture of the product and then five advertisements for the company.How about several good pics of the product showing all the details including measurements and interior space? It might increase sales if the customer was confident the product was suitable for the application in mind.I usually just pass on this seller now because of this problem across the board.
