Quiet and Small Mini PC that you need
Very Professional and Very Nice at the same time!I am very happy with the NUC13 Pro. The price to performance ratio and expandability are excellent. One thing I love about the Intel NUCs are the easy access to the RAM & SSD. Such a clean and fast setup and it is so small that I can take with me as backup instead of my heavy laptop.I have this one attached to the back of my monitor using the supplied VESA mount adapter. The unit booted up and ran perfectly. I also like the low power consumption and low temperature of the unit and especially like the very very low noise. This is important to me because I have a small office.

Wonderful Little PC that handles the big tasks
Over the time I’ve had it, I find this NUC to be a useful powerful PC. I use it for music and 4k video streaming mostly and it does a wonderful job. It has become my main go to PC. This is the second NUC I’ve added to my network and they both do champion jobs whatever I ask of them. Easy to add external optical or disc drives when required. I recommend if you are looking for very small form factor PCs.

Works great… once the BIOS is updated
Mine came with a year old BIOS that I had a lot of trouble updating in the beginning. The BIOS is very particular with what it will accept. Don’t waste time with the iFlashV EFI updater… it just doesn’t work. The flash drive *must* but formatted as FAT32 and only contain that 1 partition and CAP file. Use the `diskpart` utility to delete another others first. You cannot use a USB 2.0 drive or port to install Windows regardless of how large the drive is or else the spinner will spin forever. I used a Thunderbolt drive which was recognized at boot time without needing additional drivers. After the BIOS update, the Windows install went smoothly. Before the update, it was the BSOD boot loop of doom.

Works for the price
The compact form and ease of use was great. Fits nicely on a shelf in an A/V rack. Power cord connector is a little slippery from the port.

Outstanding DESKTOP computer!
I am completely delighted with this diminutive *desktop* computer. It was well past time to replace the mid-height Linux workstation sitting under my desk. My device requirements were relatively modest, 2 storage drives, 2 displays, and a handful of USB devices. Besides surfing the Interwebs, I work on some OSS projects, do modest image processing and 2D vector design work, as well as build and program small ARM and RISC-V devices. While I have built my own and my wife’s computers since the ’90s, I decided to go for a system with a very small footprint this time. This NUC fit the bill perfectly with 2x HDMI ports, 2280 (NVME) and 2242 (SSD) sockets, 2x SO-DIMM sockets, 2.5 GiB Ethernet, and various USB ports. I installed a 512 GB Transcend 2242 SSD (system), 2TB Samsung 990 Pro 2280 NVME (/home), and 2x Crucial 16 GiB SO-DIMMs. The Fedora 39 KDE Spin was easily installed from a USB key. I use this with 2x Asus 28in displays, Cooler Master mechanical keyboard, Logitech Marble Mouse, Griffin Powermate (volume control), and a Pertelian LCD display (always-on system monitoring).

Don’t be tempted to this one. I used it for 2 weeks, then went back to my Linux NUK11 i5 computer.
Iâm IBM old school. : The purpose of a computer is to perform work. Plus you can do active roles like playing games, or crypto for mulla, or socialize on screen without being ⦠there, or shop without the mall where you can touch or try on the merchandise, or just being around humans, aka people, dudes. What I donât like is Windows 11 PRO , Ho Ho popping up a hundred topics that Microsoft thinks everyone âshouldâ be interested in, Iâm not, not, and not interested. I have important Things To Do! Microsoft, I DONâT WORK FOR YOU! I paid for the license! W11 PRO?My real beef is that it doesnât work for me and I canât send it back. I can put another NVME SSD stick if I can and see what I can do with the Windows 11 âPROâ Wonder Stick.I used it for 2 weeks, then went back to my Linux NUK11 i5. Only 9 ratings. And the price drop. That says a lot.I guess âI chose poorly.â

Perfect portable working pc
Perfect for work! After putting my SSD/RAM into the Mini PC, it boots pretty fast. Btw, I can’t find the WIFI driver at the begining, Problem was gone after windows11 updated to the latest version. The NUC series always lives up to my expectation. It is a must to upgrade to NUC13 Arena Canyon from my previous mini PC.And similar to its previous model, this NUC13 Arena Canyon also takes minimal space as well. I can carry it around conveniently without much of a hustle. It is definitely a solid choice for hybrid workers.
