Affordable, effective, portable light therapy for all.
I am a big fan of light therapy. I have a near infrared sauna, red lasers, near-infrared panel, and now a multi-light bulb that provides red, blue, green and near infrared frequencies. I know my way around this approach to wellness.I like how convenient these Hooga bulbs are to handle and use because they are smaller in size than other things out there and are so portable. I can easily take it with me or to a friendâs house for their emergency situations. I keep this plugged in next to my bed so that I have no excuse not to use it regularly.This kind of red light is not considered hazardous to eyes and so goggles are not necessary but are included with this bulb and may make it more comfortable for those who are sensitive to light. Do NOT confuse this red light with a red LASER. That IS hazardous to the eyes. Never, NEVER look at a red laser. This bulb is NOTa laser.Some of the lights may not appear to be lit. This is NOT a defect. Red near-infrared light is not visible to the human eye, but they are firing nonetheless. Reviews saying something else are written by uninformed people. The light is working properly if three of the lights appear unlit.I prefer the manufacturer spend his energies on making a quality light and not in providing a stand. A simple gooseneck light can be purchased by anyone separately according to individual needs. More professional stands for therapy are also out there for purchase. This makes the bulb itself an affordable entry-level purchase by nearly anyway wanting to explore light therapy without bundling extra things with it, thereby raising the price.I purchased a multi-bulb to get the benefits of the other color frequencies in one treatment. I feel the human body is so brilliantly designed that it knows how to pick and choose what it needs since humans do not really know the all the benefits of any one color. Rather than guess wrong, I just use all of the colors in the multi-bulb for this reason.I bought one for my business partner since we do alternative health research and are always on the lookout for different modalities to explore. He is as blown away by how effective this muscle tests as I am. We also shine it into our purified drinking water since water so effectively and efficiently holds energy and light is energy. A lot of research has been done on this so do some reading. Just shine your light for about 5 seconds on your purified water. This is one reason we like the multi bulb. We are infusing different color frequencies all at once. What possible benefit could there be? No one really knows but there is no harm in doing this and it just might have undiscovered positive benefits.I am happy to add this to my light spa in my house. No need to go out for these treatments. No need for those scary masks that can do just your face and nothing else. Light therapy can be done very effectively and conveniently at home with an affordable Hooga bulb.

This really works!! I was surprised!
I probably don’t need to go on and on about how amazing this is. I am sure the reviews before me have praised this magical bulb! I learned about it from a beauty group singing its praises! I have been in the market for some device for red light therapy, and I was frustrated and overwhelmed, also worried about the quality of all the different red light products on the market.I hardly believed a $40 bulb would yield the results I wanted, but the gals in my online Facebook group kept suggesting it over and over. I had a membership at a spa where I could sit in a chair a few times a week and get the red light therapy, but I had no real hopes this bulb would provide as many anti-aging benefits as the spa did, but it exceeded my expectations! Within a week or so of daily use, I saw some results — a little Face firming, even tone, dark circles lightened, bouncy more youthful skin. Fantastic!! I was pretty amazed. I know the real benefits are from longer-term more consistent use, but I am pleased with the initial results. Someone in the group also suggested a clip-on light base to use instead of the base that it comes with and I am thrilled with that bulb base vs holding the blub while I use it. Nothing wrong with the blub base it comes in. I use them both depending on where I am using the red light . I am very glad for the clip on suggestion, see above pics for reference. First pic is the light base it came with , and the second pic is the clip-on one I purchased.Generally, the red light devices and panels are $100’s of dollars. This is an amazing value. I eventually will get a larger panel for body etc and I will come back to this company based on all the recommendations from the group. People in the group have even noted that their customer service is outstanding. The owner leaves his card in the box. Lots of people from the group called him for suggestions and questions , and he answered and responded, which is sadly almost unheard of these days.

I like the build quality but so far my joint pain has not lessened
I can say that it seems to be a well built and quality item. I like the fabric cord because it’s nice and flexible. Everything works fine and I found that the bulb itself will fit into a gooseneck lamp that I own so sometimes I do put the bulb in there and use it that way. I cannot say it’s helping my joint pain, my hands from arthritis and my ankle from an old injury. I’ve been using it 15 minutes on these areas every other day, it’s been a couple of weeks but I can’t say I’ve noticed anything different about joint pain in these spots.
