Worth the splurge
This shampoo is absolutely top-tier. It smells amazing, leaves my hair feeling silky and refreshed, and brings that salon-level gloss I crave â especially after coloring. Itâs the kind of product that makes you look forward to washing your hair.That said, itâs definitely a splurge item for me. I usually treat myself to it after a fresh color job to help protect and extend the life of my hair, but I canât justify using it all the time with the price tag.If it were just a bit more budget-friendly, Iâd never use anything else.

I really love Redken products. I bought this shampoo to try it since I dyed my hair black, and it does protect the color. It also leaves it soft, shiny and with a nice scent.

Itâs the BEST
Oh my gosh Iâm SO glad I bought this shampoo. Iâve been using Pureology for damaged color treated hair for about a year. It made my color last but didnât really do anything special besides color retention. Prime days are here so I tried Redkin acidic color gloss. The difference in the performance of the product is AMAZING! The Redkin made my hair SUPER shiny and manageable beyond my wildest expectations. I didnât expect the improvement in manageability so Iâm very happily surprised and I used the same spray and mouse that I always have. I was going to get my hair cut today and I donât need to now. Using the blow dryer and curling iron, like I do every day, my hair held the curls 100% (or more) better and when I gave it a little hair spray itâs stayed put. I havenât experienced this with a shampoo EVER. I was skeptical at first because the shampoo is a little thinner and didnât lather up as well as the Pureology so I absolutely wasnât expecting the results. It required very little shampoo. I used the same nickel spot as I do with Pureogy. I hesitated to use more. There was definitely âenoughâ lather, just not as much as Iâm used to with Pureology. Iâm not crazy about the scent overall. Itâs not bad but for me it would have been better if the scent was a little fruity. If this shampoo retains color as well as Pureology, Iâm SOLD and wonât use anything else. I have fine and a little bit thin hair and itâs really shiny and very manageable after using this shampoo. I felt I was in need of a cut today because it was falling limp the last week or so. Clearly, Iâm a little bit stunned. I couldnât find anywhere if itâs safe for everyday use. I sure hope so. With Pureology there was no improvement in the âperformanceâ of my hair besides color retention. Just to prove Iâve used both products, Iâve included a photo of it on my messy counter. If I find my color fades Iâll update this review. Sorry if Iâm a little overexcited over this. Iâm just amazed lol.

Great Product-Packaging is lacking
This shampoo is great for color treated hair, my only concern with the shampoo was the packaging for a higher end shampoo and conditioner it arrived with no seal or anything to show it wasnât opened. It was just free with no seal or plastic wrap around the container which seems strange that brand new shampoo and conditioner wouldnât have some sort of seal to show itâs fresh and unopened.

You only need a nickle sized dot of shampoo for long hair!
This is a nice sulfate free shampoo. It was recommended by my hairdresser to keep the color in my natural red, dyed red hair. After 2 months my bangs where the white spot is are looking blonde, but this is better than usual. Red heads know that their white hair doesn’t take dye well (we don’t go gray, we go white) . While the shampoo is expensive, I think it last 2X or 3X longer than other shampoos. You only need a nickle sized dot to shampoo your hair. I am not as enamored of the conditioner, which has a terrible squeeze bottle and needs to be twice as large volume-wise for people with long hair or more hair. Please put your conditioner in a squeeze tube and double the size of the conditioner! I use the conditioner on my roots and the upper portion of my hair usually. Even when I apply it to my roots, and do not get results anything like the results in the Amzon photos. But the shampoo is nice and has a light, plesant smell so all you highly sensitive ladies can oder it unless you don’t do scents at all.

I like the product but just not from Amazon! The first time I bought this product was from the salon I went to get my hair dyed and it worked good. It kept the blonde from turning brassy too fast and made my hair feel clean. Then I bought it from Amazonâ¦my head was so itchy, flaky, dry, and my head was full of pimples! Yall, this is expensive shampoo so I had to keep using it or itâd be a waste of my money. I thought it was a me problem until I got the same one at Ulta instead of Amazon. My head is no longer flaky, itchy, dry, nor filled with pimples! I suggest not buying anything related to skin care products from Amazon anymore! This isnât the first product I purchased from Amazon that had a different outcome. I bought moisturizers and sunscreens here and they all had different consistency and smell to them unlike the originals. I just thought maybe they changed some ingredients but NOPE! After using this shampoo that I bought from Amazon along with other skin care products, I realized that either Amazon is swapping out the products, selling fake brand names, or selling expired products. Even the toothpaste I bought from Amazon had a different consistency and taste!SERIOUSLY, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING RELATED TO SKINCARE OR HAIRCARE PRODUCTS FROM AMAZON!!!

Adquiri este champoo porque a las pocas lavadas mi cabello tiende a volver los rubios cenizos en puntas ananjadas bastante desagradables, con este champoo se conserva el color por mucho más tiempo y asà solo me doy un baño de color a los 35 dias aprox y el tinte general se puede retrasar hasta que halla más crecimiento, sin que el color cambie, respecto al brillo si he notado mi cabello un poquito menos opaco, rinde mucho independiente que mi cabello es muy corto y obviamente consumo poca cantidad en cada lavada. Continuaré adquiriendolo por medio de Amazon ya que lo encuentro a mejor precio.
