Solid dash cam with back facing camera – great purchase for the price point (resolution and GPS)
Nice item for the price point. Only installed around two weeks but no issues. Picture clarity seems good. Easy to run wires including back camera (in my pickup). Suction cup amazingly is staying in place even in California heat. One irritating issue – anytime the word “take” or “picture” comes on the radio the unit takes a snapshot! Nothing major, just at first funny and now a bit annoying. I need to read the booklet – see if adjustable in settings. One other issue – unit kept turning off on me – had it connected to a USB cigarette lighter adapter so I could plug in down below my dash (my lighter is up on the top of the dash) – I think my adapter even though indicated 12.1 v might have been varying. Plugged directly into my lighter with no adapter – unit stays on no problem. So far happy with my purchase.

Awesome dashcam and easy to setup/use!
So far I love it! Super easy to install and set up. Picture quality is amazing and the FOV is perfect for my truck. There are many options you can tweak and adjust to make it perfect for you. Its small enough to be out of the way but also large enough so you can see the screen and adjust things if needed. You can also use the phone app which is super easy to connect to. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great dash cam that has a great price!

Great Front Camera and connection, Rear camera not so much
The product works well. The front camera is clear, and I love that I can easily connect. However, my only complaint is that the is the rear camera. It is always very dark and every position I attempt to move it still comes out dark videos and the headlights from behind are super bright. So, the rear camera is pretty much useless imo.

Life Saver!
Life saver! Unfortunately I was involved with a road rage incident . My wife and I were shot at twice. This camera caught everything!!! All footage was turned over to the police and the person was arrested and charged. The investigator said if it wasnât for the videos, they would not have been able to do anything. This cameras is great! Make sure to do the front and rear views! Thank goodness we had this on my truck. Everyone needs a dash cam! This is a good one! Easy install, easy app, download are easy. Works great!

Great 4k dash cam for the cost!
The factory support was outstanding! They reached out to me and made sure everything was good. This is my second Redtiger dash cam and it has a touch screen which makes it a little easier to get around the menus. It also has a Sony Starvis 2 sensor that handles low light situations better. I used an OBD adapter to power the cam so I can continue to record when the vehicle is off. The suction cup adapter probably won’t work very well in the Texas summer heat but they did supply double sided tape to mount it permanently. It also has a 128mb memory card included which should be enough storage. It is upgradable to 256mb. The recorded video looks clear and I can read license plates and street sings if they are not too far away or moving too fast. In the city I can freeze frame the video and read passing cars. This model also comes with faster wifi to offload video to your phone but I just remove the video card from the cam and view the video on my windows PC with the viewing software that I downloaded from their website.

Could be better for the price
I’ve noticed that this dash cam lacks night vision, which my $8 TikTok dash cam has. You can only see if there’s light. The rear camera’s quality is ok; you can see during the day, but at night, you need light to see anything.Another issue is that the dash cam stays on for over 40 minutes when connected to my cigarette plug, so I have to manually plug it in every time I enter the car and unplug it every time I exit. To view videos or pictures on the app, I must connect to the camera manually each time, as there’s no automatic access. If I want to review my drive at home, I need to go to the car, turn on the camera, and enable the WiFi to connect to the app. Also, this dash cam doesn’t offer a dual-screen display option (half back camera and half front camera) like other dash cams. You only have either all front view, all back view, no view, and full front view with a tiny square of back view. Overall, itâs fancy but it lacks certain features that other cheaper dash cameras offer.

Great camera for the price
For the price it’s actually a decent camera. It has a long cable length, wide angle view and night vision. Clarity is good but can’t read license plates from far away. It’s literally plug and play.

What a great dashcam. Very easy to set up and easy to navigate the menu. It has everything you need in a dash camera. The Redtiger app also works well. Playback through the app looks good and easy to use. Be sure to get the polarising lens as well. I highly recommend this dashcam.

The dash cam is excellent. The setup was super easy. The product is small, so you can hide it behind the rearview mirror. Picture quality and camera performance are awesome. It’s lightweight, but not cheap.Only you have to be careful about the hardware kit to use parking mode loop recording: you have to use a pro hardware kit with 2 separate wires (yellow and red wires) for parking mode. Otherwise, it works like a dummy, with no parking mode menu and features.
