Great dashcam kit
I ordered this after reading the reviews on the product. I had been looking to buy one and saw some footage someone had shared from their RedTiger cam. Great picture quality, easy functionality, easy to install. The kit came with everything needed to make a neat job of running the cord to the cam. My only “complaint” is that the mount that is applied to the windshield that connects to the cam was wonky. Any time I hit some uneven terrain or even had to brake harder than usual, the cam would move upward cutting off half of what it was recording in front of me. I tried to tighten it up but the mount was just faulty. It kept moving out of place. I reached out to RedTiger customer support and they fixed me up. Very prompt communication and follow through. I had a replacement mount with all the adhesive pads needed to replace the mount in a day. The new one is much better. I rate the kit 5 stars for the quality product but also because customer support is top notch. You can’t go wrong with this company.

Lots of strange people out there…. this was just for peace of mind
Great product! Very happy with the features and ease of use. I did have it professionally installed but only because I wasn’t sure how to wire the rear camera without seeing any wires. ($65 for the install at my local dealer on our VW Atlas). I bought it because we were going on a cross county road trip and I just wanted a record if anything happened along the way. In normal use it’s more of a ‘you don’t even pay attention to it’ kind of thing, but if you need it …. it’s monitoring. I turned off the internal (driver/passenger) camera but the front and rear camera’s work perfectly.

I purchased a REDTIGER F17 dash cam recently My first dashcam. It was for my sonâs car to monitor his driving habits and also for his protection. Been debating to get one but finally pulled the trigger. This one had front, inside, and rear recording. Did a lot of research before my purchase and I chose REDTIGER because it had great reviews but mainly I was impressed with their customer reviews. Price and quality I think you get a lot for your money itâs worth it. It comes with a 64 gb micro memory card which is enough but I bought myself a 128gb not necessary. I wasnât sure if I could install it myself and hide the wires correctly but wanted to save money on the install. So I did it myself. Itâs not too difficult but I think the average person might have some difficulty. Itâs not hard but itâs not easy either. Took me about 1.5 hours reading the instructions and deciding how to place the wire throughout the car. I ended up repositioning the camera a few times for the best camera view since itâs my first time so I ended up ruining the sticker you put on the windshield.and the 3M sticker. I called customer service the same day of the install on a Sunday afternoon and was able to reach someone and explain what happened and if they could send me additional stickers I needed to replace. It was a very easy process they were very understanding and said they would send it out right away. Wow I didnât expect to get my replacement stickers 2 days later I thought it would take at least a week. The camera does everything I expected and video quality is very good. The app could be a lot better. The WiFi stuff is a little buggy but for the most part I am really happy with my purchase. I think having good customer service is so important and they definitely back it up.

great product with great resolution
This is my second Red Tiger dash cam. I like this one much better than the older model (older model still did a great job with great resolution). This camera was very easy to install (took about an hour in a crew cab truck) including tucking the wires.This camera has great resolution… three cameras to monitor front, back, and inside.I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants peace of mind when driving.

Highly recommend!
I bought one of these and the installation and everything was so easy to get it up and running. I was done in like 45 minutes after I figured out which fuses I was going to tap into. Picture quality is amazing. Been a couple of weeks and works flawlessly. I hardwired it, and am still playing around with the settings but for the price and what you get you can’t beat it. Best thing the customer service is ridiculously amazing. Answered all my questions, made sure I got the correct hardwire kit, and told me if any issues to reach back out to them. Very responsive and helpful. I am really happy with my purchases and highly recommend the redtiger dashcams! Installed on a 2024 rav4 hybrid and about to start installation on my 2023 sequioa hybrid which is a bit more complex on the install due to the car not the kit.

3 channel dashcam with wifi
Overall, the dashcam is good. It has 3 channels that records, front, back, and inside of the vehicle for a great price. You are able to download the recordings directly to your phone. Although you would need to turn on the wifi everytime you want to download. Techsupport are very responsive!Cons:Unable to just only view 2 channels on the screen. I just want to see the front and back camera on the screen, while also recording the inside. You are stuck with all 3, unless you turn off the passengers camera.While all 3 channels being shown on the screen, the main screen takes half of the screen, but it does not show the porportional. The view is cutoff (see picture. very left screen), but it still records the whole angle if you watch the recordings.This con is for all new dashcams. You will need to install them on the windshield on the passenger side. I happened to have a universal dashcam that mounts on the rear view mirror that I used for my old dashcam. I was able to find adapter that came with the mount and mount this dashcam.

I’m happy with the quality of the front camera image. The rear and interior cameras are standard, but they have a good recording angle and the images are clear too.The only downside is the rattling noise that comes from the front camera buttons. I have a diesel car, and when driving slowly in a high gear, I can hear the noise coming from there.
