very cool!
I am surprised how much I like this measuring tool for my miter saw, yeah a bit disappointed it didn’t fit my miter-saw out the box but they sell a kit and it worked out well for me, I do small wood working projects and this is perfect for it, its easy to use and I got it on sale so…good value for me. Now do I wish this out the box was cheaper for up and coming wood workers? sure, 100% but company’s gotta make money and there is some serious good build quality on this thing so I also get the price.

Wow! So accurate and easy to use!
I donât need this but I love it now that Iâve used it. Itâs accurate and easy to use. The design and build quality are a great addition to my saw and the functionality makes it incredibly fast and easy to get good accurate repeatable cuts. It is a luxury item for me and I use it for finer detailed woodworking where I need to make very accurate cuts. It makes measuring and cutting accurately so much faster that it would be a great value for the money on a job site where production throughput needs to be high.

Good tool, Great company
I seldom do reviews to get one you have to be really good or really bad. I purchased the Reekon M1 to use on my sawmill for the vertical movement of the saw and it worked perfectly in spite of not having been designed for that application. It also works well on my miter saw as itâs intended to.Then after a couple of years it refused to power up knowing that warranty’s donât last forever I contacted the company to see if they could repair it before ordering a replacement. After a few emails to troubleshoot the problem they sent me a replacement unit. Long story short this is a tool that works well and is backed by a company that believes in its products and supports its customers.

I’ll give you all a moment to stop gigglingThe Reekon M1 is one of a few items over the past couple years that I saw used on Youtube that turned into a serious game changer.====> AS LONG AS YOU SET IT UP AND CALIBRATE IT PROPERLY! <==== Make sure to verify that your blade kerf is set correctly in the M1 or every cut will be slightly off.I have a Bosch GCM12SD Miter saw and quickly found out it was not immediately compatible. My fences don't have a proper spot to clamp onto so I had to purchase their adapter fences and mount them first. Annoying yes, but not a deal breaker. In reality i maybe could have researched that but I was a bit too excited. Either way once you get the blade kerf dialed in and your first calibration cut out of the way, you are on your way to perfect repeatable cuts. Its also super portable, I brought it with me to my Brother-in-laws and mounted it on his Metabo miter saw while helping him build a fence.Pros: Easy to read display, super accurate, vastly speeds up my cut lists, and comes in a nice foam storage case.Cons: For the cost they could have included the 2 AA batteries needed, make sure the piece you are cutting doesn't have major depressions or knot holes in the path of the measurement wheel ( the wheels distance traveled will be different from the straight length ), and you may not know if your saw is 100% compatible until you're there with the device in hand

Fantastic time saver product
It is a fantastic product, very accurate and save me alot of time.I have a gerong saw with red laser beam that I can almost not see it especialy when there is a bright light, the m1 now enable me not to require the use of the laser beam, every cut is very precise, just calibrate it first and then just cut, no marks, no measuring just roll and cut, fantastic

Wanted to like this product
No matter how many times I went through the process of zeroing this particular unit will not hold zero. Closest I could get it was within an 1/8â next cut up to 1â short. Without an additional calibration the unit went as much as 3â short. I had also bought the Reekon fence for my saw so I know this thing isnât moving around. Couldnât be more disappointed wish I could get my money back but it sat almost a month in the box before I opened and calibrated. Guess I just throw it away at this point complete waste of $150. Money doesnât grow on trees in this economy this one hurts the wallet!! The idea was cool but clearly hasnât worked out all the bugs. Donât Buy Youâve Been Warned!!

Not consistent or accurate enough
I ordered this to try and make it fun for the Mrs to help with projects. Itâs not accurate or consistent enough for my liking. If looking for precision this is not the tool. I tested the factory calibration and it was 3/8â out at 3â. I recalibrated it as they instructed you would probably need to do. The M1 caliber was closer but would have inconsistent measurements either being spot on or up to 3/16â out on longer pieces. The kerf width is easy to set. I calibrated it multiple times on different pieces with similar results. It did not fit directly onto my miter saw (dewalt 20v) I had to use a scrap piece of wood to mount it. It did not save me any time I found it more efficient and accurate to use a tape measure and pencil. The M1 caliber is easy to use just not an efficient use of time for me. I would say it does not provide enough value for money.

Great tool
Great tool but a bit tricky on round items. Make sure you don’t twist the piece when feeding it through the device. It is very precise as long as you set it up properly. Make sure you measure to the far side of the blade otherwise you will come up about 1/8″ short due to the kerf of the blade. Use the QR code on the box to properly setup and calibrate the device.

No warning of compability problems.I have a Bosch miter saw and it will not fit.I didnât understand that the information of which saws it did fit until I found the information on reekon website.

Premessa fondamentale: se non sapete calibrarlo inizialmente non lo guardate nemmeno.Detto ciò, il prodotto va calibrato e la precisione spiazza talmente è accurata. Si può usare sia a dx che a sx della lama. Io per il modo in cui taglio alluminio ho dovuto creare una staffa che mi portasse la rotella più vicina alla guida di scorrimento. I materiali sono super robusti anche se in plastica. Se devo trovare una sola pecca è il manuale di istruzioni in inglese, ma câè il qr code per andare sul sito e tradurlo in italiano. I soldi spesi ci valgono tutti. Lo consiglio tantissimo
