Fantastic, pumps even in the shade.
This is a great quality solar panel. I have had a few other small trickle panels and a cheap flexible plastic one (total waste of money) and I am really impressed with the power and quality of this panel. It is really too strong for a trickle panel, but i find I can put it in the shade and it works fine with less power and it will totally charge up a “dead” car battery in no time (paired with a cheap charge controller, made mobile safe by hot glue gunning wiring points). I bought a panel this strong because I got a great sale price on it. Very worth it. Small enough to be portable and easily moveable and will fit on my dash even and large enough to really kick ass, charge up a lead acid battery and all my 5 volt usb lights and devices. Great for camping. My only problem with this panel on the onset was that it came with Renology MC4 connectors attached and I had trouble deciding whether to buy more of those or rip off the MC4 connector and just convert to 12 volt automotive water proof connector I already had on hand. For my uses, I was better off without the MC4 (a waterproof rating not size rating) I decided, and I finally pried them off and converted to the 12 volt auto connector, but the psychological block really impacted my project.

A quality panel.
No way the condo association was going to let me put a panel on the roof, but maybe they would look the other way if I installed one in a window? They never said anything about my little 10 watt, so I decided to upgrade to as big as would fit in the lower half of a double-hung window. That would be a 50 watter. I looked around and found a great deal on a Renogy, well under the benchmark $1/watt, so I ordered it, along with a 35ah sla battery for a sink. My setup is far from ideal, with the panel vertical, shaded for half the day, and actually behind the screen in the window, but none of it seems to matter as this panel just keeps putting out the power. I’m very impressed. My little setup should tide me over the occasional power outage, running a fan, a light and a computer. When my neighbors see the light shining in my window while the rest of the neighborhood is dark, maybe they will want panels of their own. And if enough of them discover the benefits of solar, we can take over the board and get a proper rooftop installation done.

Well made and performs well
Well made and performs well. I installed two of these in series on the roof of our travel trailer. Almost as soon as the sun comes up they start making power and charging our battery. We are a little over-paneled (400w solar for a 100ah battery) so charging to full every day should not be an issue even with a few other 12v loads during the day.

180 Watt Output, out of 200. Not bad for less than ideal setup.
So I wanted to test this to make sure it works. So on this cloudless day, I set this up on stands behind the garage and plugged my EcoFlo into it.I made little attempt to align it up to the sun, just set it up pointed in the general direction of the sun. Very pleased with the 180 watt output. If I had taken more care I might have gotten closer to the 200 watt claimed output. It charged my EcoFlo Delta 2 from about 85 to 90 percent in about ten minutes. This panel is not the anti shading one. That one was not on sale and about $60 more than this one. I put my hand over it and its output dropped to half.I got this during prime days so it was a good value for the money. Being a 200 watt panel it is a pretty good size, but it is light enough to for one person to handle provided it is not too windy. However, with the EcoWorthy mounting kit it was easy to install it.

Great bang for the buck; affordable high quality panel
So far so good. Makes nearly 4.5 amps in full sun. Have it mounted vertically in the subarctic. Very well made rigid frame. Significant Amazon delivery delays, or UPS, but for less than $90, this may be the best deal in 100w solar right now, and worth the wait. Just ordered a second one on a price drop.

Top quality from Renogy. For a 50w unit,.
Quality unit for an excellent price! I tested the unit with my 12v 100ah battery box with a Victron 75/15 charge controller. I got 21v open circuit voltage with about 2.45a shorted current snd measured 42w at the charge controller. Excellent performance! Although I started at about 97% battery, I hit 100% in about 30 minutes! I’ll be testing more as I deplete the battery, but as a start, I’m totally satisfied.

Durable, mountable, very nice size
Purchased to mount on a small camper trailer, out of the box it was getting 180w even on a sub-optimal angle. The aluminum framing is very sturdy- and even double-walled which is very useful if you’re drilling through it and attaching fittings. The corners are solid reinforced as well. After mounting on an adjustable tilt mount my father in law and I made it was still rocking a near perfect capture wattage. In slight cloud cover it was still getting 120w at again, sub-optimal angles. in pure sun it was touching 190w.

Renogy N-Type 400 Watt Solar Panel
These solar panels look to be well made and were easy to attach to the steel bracket that I purchased here on Amazon (bracket description below). I have two other foldable solar panels (a different brand facing to the West) so I know I’ll likely never get the output advertised, so with that in mind … I live in Phoenix AZ; in the early morning, around 7/8 am, I’m pulling in around 290 watts, by 9am I’m pulling in around 320 watts, and by noon I’m pulling in around 340 watts. These numbers do coincide with my portable foldable solar panels so I didn’t feel a huge disappointment when I didn’t get the full 400 watts. The reason I purchased these was because I wanted something a little sturdier and panels that have a smaller footprint to catch the morning sun. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and I’m thinking of getting another set to replace my foldable panels that currently facing the setting sun.(Solar Panel Mount Brackets, 2 Sets 45 inch Adjustable with Foldable Tilt Legs, Suitable for 2-4pcs 180 200 300 400 500 Watt Solar Panel for Roof, RV, Boat, and Off-Grid – PFCTART Store I’m very happy with these steel brackets for the Renogy solar panels)

Very impressed with the quality of this panel. Black anodised alloy frame looks nice, but will scratch easily if not mounted out the way on a roof etc. The cells are solid black with no tracks on and look a lot nicer in my opinion than traditional panels. The 4mm solar cables are fairly short and come with MC4 connectors attached. The junction box is good and solid with an o-ring seal to keep the water out and the cables are attached well via crimping. It feel solidly built but isn’t too heavy.Played about with a small 40w solar panel on my shed roof for a while. Used it to power lights, power tool batterys, recharge cycle lights etc via a PWM charge controller. Needed to upgrade, so bought one of these. Unboxed and wired in temporarily in the afternoon UK sun, and it produced the full 5.6 amps straight away. When the sun went behind the clouds it was still producing about 2.2amps, which my other panel only gave on full chat. Only had it a few days, but so far impressed by it.
