Best Cameras and customer service ever
Love REOLINK cameras!! Customer service is outstanding! I purchased the wrong type at first. Company sent me the one I needed and credited me for the balance that exceeded the new purchase. I had to send the new camera they sent me back because it wasnât working right and they sent me a new one which arrived very quickly. I canât say enough about how great the customer service is. But aside from that. The cameras are the best. We have used other brands and none work as well as this brand.

Great LTE Camera for remote locations
Setup was super easy! Great quality! Just got it, but so far it’s fantastic and I’d highly recommend.Mostly wanted to review based on several folks saying it’s disconnected even with the camera right in front of it; Once the SIM/LTE data plan runs empty, it disconnects. You have to refill the data plan and I had to reboot it to reconnect it (it says if you wait a few minutes it’ll auto-reconnect, but I just rebooted it) – so please check the data plan if the camera is showing disconnected. It will take me some time to figure out how much data I will use in a month, I was playing it a lot during setup and burned through the free 100 mb and had to get the 1 GB plan- which was pretty cheap, like $9 a month or something.I have had no issues with connectivity once figuring that part out.

I could not get it to work
I could not get the camera to work. It seemed to be heavy duty. But if it doesnât work, that really doesnât matter. It would not connect to my phone and I couldnât see it in their app. I contacted support, which is via email. I assume support is in China. I believe their time was GMT +8. So I would only get 1 email and response per day. Very frustrating. Eventually after trying several things, they wanted me to put the SIM card from my phone in the camera to see if it would connect. I was not comfortable doing that. So I returned it. I really wanted it to work because I like the features.

Excellent!!!!!
I bought this after shopping the Vosker units and found the installation instructions simple and straightforward. I set this unit up, and Iâm not incredibly savvy, without any problems or issues whatsoever!!!! Picture quality is great, PTZ function is awesome and everything works as expected/advertised!!!!

Ya.., kinda have a bot crush on this SecUnit. My Sputnik, just like her namesake, she’s spiky.
Tried another brand first. Worthless trackimg, sketchy movement when it decided to play ball. Would often check in and find it staring straight down at the dirt. This Camera brought me back from that yuck let down all the way up, no $¡+, to beyond redemption. This little Sputnik is on it with two independently operating lenses. One widde angle that captures the whole apartment parking lot and catches and tracks motiom the moment somebody steps into that broad AO and the second lens zooms in automatically and tightens to a highly usable image. It’ll adjust zoom accordingly to target size. Maximizing zoom wether it’s one person or 4. The tracking is active, smooth, and agile. If a passerby happens to see the camera, they will see it looking rigjht back at them and traversing to follow them. It’s actually pretty sick. You know, it’s great that it can give a strong show of deterrence cuz it creates an awareness of the area. At night, when it detects someone, it throws on that spotlight and tracks them with it until they’re out of the area. It’s one solid blow to the “broken window” theories paradigm. In time, I have no doubt this little bot will reduce undesirable in and around the area.

My opinion has not changed: Nonexistent tech support, poor instructions
Bought five cameras. Installing first one. Instructions are non existent. Customer service sucks. Cannot get replays with SD card and cannot connect camera to cloud. Window where you could type in appears but you cannot type in info to connect camera to cloud. So paid for cloud service which i am not getting. Well: I will have to check if i need to upgrade cloud service (pay more) to connect able connect. Product says you can purchase unlimited plan for a year- such option is not given when you purchase SIM card plans which means it might get very expensive as it will be used up just trying to get camera to work. Cloud storage is extra. Trying to connect to customer service: AI service robot keeps coming back asking for country after it was entered. So far a nightmare and seems only live view available, no recordings.Daytime visuals seem nice but if I cannot get recordings saved: camera will be worthless.Screws for installation: very soft metal. Do not forget to buy SD card: it does not come with camera. So far disappointment after hours of work.UPDATEWhile i decided to keep cameras, my rating is not changing. The camera built is more solid than other cameras. Battery charge holds well for 4 out of 5. Had way too many times to get on ladders because SIM card is not detected or camera was decoupled from cloud services. Strangely during the day cameras will detect even non existing events while at night when i stop paying attention to them: cameras go dead and some of them have undetectable SIM card in the morning. Meanwhile on app you can share cameras but it does not show log of sharing or if someone pleased themselves to sharing my cameras without my permission and it is major security vulnerability as in such case i have no way to disable unauthorised user who might please himself to criminal activity: watching me while disabling cameras for criminal activity. At least Ring app was more serious about camera sharing controls . Basically i can use cameras to see what is happening on live view on property after 10-20 second camera waking up time( unless no SIM card detected comes first and camera does not work at all) which means you can break in the house unseen on cameras. I would not call them security cameras as they do not function properly as security cameras. The motion sensors per categories does not work properly as set either. When you try to get tech support : you get dumb down AI support that will take you on loop to the point where even polite females will be cursing like drunk sailors. You have to resort to internet searches to fix the problem and when you canât find one: tinker yourself for hours till you figure it out. While cloud pricing for five cameras is very decent, cellular data plans are expensive and lot of the data get eaten up trying to fix the constant glitches. On one of my cameras I had already to top off data. If the cameras do not come up with unlimited date you can buy for a year: it might be expensive useless toy but even with that still expensive toy that does not serve the function of security camera. After my first rating i did get email from representative for help with tech issues I couod not get trough official sites. I did not bother to respond as there are way too many issues. And by the way: i have done reading reviews on all possible cellular cameras and it seems all of them share same issues: not working properly with expensive data plans.

A new design with all the high end features one would need. This 4k solar camera with 180 degree field of view, 6 ghz wifi and colour night vision sounds like a banger. But It might be wise to think about use cases and placement. Before purchasing this unit. This product is an all in one solution for those that don’t own the REOLINK bay station. The feature set:IK10 vandal-proof design, it ensures reliable surveillance even in high-risk environments.UHDdual 8MP lenses =16MP UHDCOLOUR NIGHT VISION: x vision clear ( high ISO )LensesF/1.0 aperturesensor1/1.8″ CMOS sensorinfrared8x infrared LED lights unveil all night details up to 100ft.dual view180° PANORAMIC VIEW & MOTION TRACK: The dual-image stitching algorithms, coupled with 4-core SoC, create 180° panoramic views with less distortion & fewer blind spots.detection algorithmSMART DETECTION & TWO-WAY AUDIO: Smartly detect person/car/animal movements from other objects, reducing false alarms. Plus, time-lapse condenses long-term events into minutes, facilitating easy observation of transformations. The good:1 High resolution images with great dynamic range HDR2 large field of view that offers a great sense of scale and security3 powered from the sun4 adjustable blind spot ( in app )5 No fee local storage ( with perches of hub )minor Issues:1 sometimes the image stitching algorithm fails, making the resulting image broken is the transition between the dual lens setup. ( rare )2 night vision is good but is best at around the 20 to 50 meeter range. Beyond this point faces and other aspects such as cloth and ( accessories )become dim.3 The coloured night vision exhibits a slight green cast ( reminding me of classic NVG goggles ). Yet still offers high precision colours.3 Detection zone failures. Sometimes the camera won’t detect a person or object if it is less then 35% in the frame ( example a head and upper torso ) might not trigger the cams auto detect. This has happened on some occasions when testing this. Works 95% of the timeFinal thought; 5 out of 5With this units overall high cost of entry. This might be for some, a higher price to pay. For an innovative design that somewhat fails to hit the mark 100% of the time. If you own the bay station and other cameras from this company then it will be a great addition to your security setup. But you must always keep in mind, that with new tech their might be some bugs that need ironing out. So always update you’re firmware and keep you’re troubleshooting guide handy and you will be fine.

This product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in a simple cardboard retail box.We have Reolink doorbell that works surprisingly well so I was happy to order this item to try it out. I ordered this a while ago and I am currently waiting for the last of our snow to go before installing but I thought I would provide some initial impressions. I have been testing the solar panel functionality out and it has had surprisingly decent results despite not being placed in an optimal situation whatsoever. I have set this up temporarily on our pet to see how good the night vision and tracking features are and I am presently surprised with the accuracy. The instructions are easy enough to understand I love that I can use the app we use with our doorbell. I think the installation process will be easy enough but I shall have to update once we have installed this permanently because I have never dabbled with solar paneling before. The asking price of $349 CAD is reasonable, a little high but then again I feel most things are overpriced these days, although I would not hesitate to pick these up again at full price. I can’t wait to try this out!
