Best Cameras and customer service ever
Love REOLINK cameras!! Customer service is outstanding! I purchased the wrong type at first. Company sent me the one I needed and credited me for the balance that exceeded the new purchase. I had to send the new camera they sent me back because it wasn’t working right and they sent me a new one which arrived very quickly. I can’t say enough about how great the customer service is. But aside from that. The cameras are the best. We have used other brands and none work as well as this brand.

I could not get it to work
I could not get the camera to work. It seemed to be heavy duty. But if it doesn’t work, that really doesn’t matter. It would not connect to my phone and I couldn’t see it in their app. I contacted support, which is via email. I assume support is in China. I believe their time was GMT +8. So I would only get 1 email and response per day. Very frustrating. Eventually after trying several things, they wanted me to put the SIM card from my phone in the camera to see if it would connect. I was not comfortable doing that. So I returned it. I really wanted it to work because I like the features.

Ya.., kinda have a bot crush on this SecUnit. My Sputnik, just like her namesake, she’s spiky.
Tried another brand first. Worthless trackimg, sketchy movement when it decided to play ball. Would often check in and find it staring straight down at the dirt. This Camera brought me back from that yuck let down all the way up, no $¡+, to beyond redemption. This little Sputnik is on it with two independently operating lenses. One widde angle that captures the whole apartment parking lot and catches and tracks motiom the moment somebody steps into that broad AO and the second lens zooms in automatically and tightens to a highly usable image. It’ll adjust zoom accordingly to target size. Maximizing zoom wether it’s one person or 4. The tracking is active, smooth, and agile. If a passerby happens to see the camera, they will see it looking rigjht back at them and traversing to follow them. It’s actually pretty sick. You know, it’s great that it can give a strong show of deterrence cuz it creates an awareness of the area. At night, when it detects someone, it throws on that spotlight and tracks them with it until they’re out of the area. It’s one solid blow to the “broken window” theories paradigm. In time, I have no doubt this little bot will reduce undesirable in and around the area.

A new design with all the high end features one would need. This 4k solar camera with 180 degree field of view, 6 ghz wifi and colour night vision sounds like a banger. But It might be wise to think about use cases and placement. Before purchasing this unit. ( rare )2 night vision is good but is best at around the 20 to 50 meeter range. Beyond this point faces and other aspects such as cloth and ( accessories )become dim.3 The coloured night vision exhibits a slight green cast ( reminding me of classic NVG goggles ). Yet still offers high precision colours.3 Detection zone failures. Sometimes the camera won’t detect a person or object if it is less then 35% in the frame ( example a head and upper torso ) might not trigger the cams auto detect. This has happened on some occasions when testing this. Works 95% of the timeFinal thought; 5 out of 5With this units overall high cost of entry. This might be for some, a higher price to pay. For an innovative design that somewhat fails to hit the mark 100% of the time. If you own the bay station and other cameras from this company then it will be a great addition to your security setup. But you must always keep in mind, that with new tech their might be some bugs that need ironing out. So always update you’re firmware and keep you’re troubleshooting guide handy and you will be fine.

I will update if I receive it, but right now it say delivery is for Jan 6 2026 ! The order was placed on March 12 2025. So not the best experience so far from ReolinkDirect !

Ayant déjà testé le Reolink Go Plus (que je n’avais pas entièrement aimé), je dois dire que je préfère encore largement ce modèle au TrackMix LTE.Qualité de fabrication : 10/10Comme toujours avec Reolink, rien à dire sur la finition. Le produit est solide, bien conçu, tout est bien ajusté.Ergonomie : 7/10• Caméra assez lourde (pas un problème une fois installée).• Choix étrange de Reolink pour l’emplacement des cartes SIM et microSD. Tout aurait pu être regroupé au même endroit.Fonctionnalités : 6/10Avec les deux lentilles, je m’attendais à mieux. Finalement, on a deux images superposées, sans réelle valeur ajoutée. Rien d’extraordinaire ici.Connectivité : 7/10• Fonctionne uniquement en 4G/LTE (pas de Wi-Fi).• Connexion globalement stable, mais quelques bugs à l’ouverture de l’app (obligé de revenir en arrière pour relancer).Qualité d’image : 3/10C’est là que la caméra déçoit le plus.• Image médiocre, bien en dessous d’autres modèles Reolink que j’ai testés.• Zoom x8 inutilisable, image floue.• Vision nocturne très mauvaise sans torche.En résumé : je ne recommande pas cette caméra.Pour le prix, autant prendre le Go Plus, qui reste plus efficace malgré ses limites. L’idée était bonne, mais l’exécution ne suit pas.
