REOLINK rocks
Ive purchased other cameras, but after using the REOLINK, I think I have finally found a camera that has everything I have been looking for. The camera captures a good video, is easy to use, and overall seems to function as designed. I like that the solar panel means I do not have to worry about replacing or changing a battery. One of the best features is that this camera is NOT dependent on wifi. I have a large property and can place REOLINK cameras anywhere on my property and they work. Great quality.

Works way better than expected
I have lots of cameras in my home system, so I had a quality bar that I did not expect from this one because instead of running hardwired over ethernet – this uses a 4G network. However, I am pleasantly surprised about how well it works.Setup was easy – you have to got get a SIM card 1st. You cannot do anything without it. I got a pre-paid Tmobile card and everything worked right away.Picture quality is good. The motion detection is pretty good. I strongly recommend you also put a memory chip in it, that way it stores what is happening until you have time to check it out.The PTZ is “ok”. If it had preset view points – it would be great. The solar charging is great. It has been running solid and battery is alway saying 100%.The microphone/speaker works – which was a real shock to me. I am able to talk to someone there at the site and we each understand each other. There is a delay – but it is workable.Only reservation is I have had it only a couple of months. Will have to update the review to see how it holds up over time.

Terrible!
First off I received the product with the box covered in this tar like substance. I hate this camera. It would not load at all. I paid for GB. It keeps notifying me but then wonât load the camera/video. For the price please do not buy this camera. Actually donât buy it at all it doesnât show you anything. Iâm very upset. Itâs not a cheap camera.

Good security camera for remote locations
I purchased this camera to place at the end of my driveway where I do not get WiFi. I have a long driveway with a gate at the end, but that doesnât stop people from sometimes finding themselves on my property without permission. I wanted this camera to primarily catch trespassers and give me a heads up. After having it up a few weeks, here are my thoughts. First, I should mention that this camera does not work with Verizon. I bought a FreedomPop prepaid card which allows up to 1G a month of data ($65 for 12 months). So far, the camera has used about half that data a month so you should be good with something similar, unless you have AT&T and if thatâs the case just hook it up to your existing plan. I like that this camera is independently sufficient. You put your SD card and SIM card in, plug up the solar panel, and no worries. I have my camera at the edge of a tree line that gets about 5 hours of sun. So far, the battery stays between 97-100%. I also like that it has two way audio and I can even sound an alarm if necessary. I rather not do that but in the event Iâm not home, maybe it would scare someone off. Pan and Tilt operation is great but does have a very slight lag but thatâs because it is working off a cell tower. Also, I live in a very rural area and cell reception is poor. However, the camera consistently has 4bars of 4G. Night vision is ok, but could be better. Camera only records when it detects motion and doesnât record 24/7 but you can check in on the app and it will come on. Only cons I have are that it comes in the color white and the mounting bracket for the camera is plastic. My camera is placed about 8 foot high on a tree and so white was a turn off for me. So, I painted it camouflage. As to the camera mount being plastic, if someone were to hit it with a stick or something similar, the mount would likely break and there goes your camera to a thief. Which also brings up the con that the playback video is saved to the SD card on the camera, not a cloud. So, if someone steals your camera or turns it off, you canât see the video of what happened. Therefore, mount your camera high and try to hide it if possible. I made a small wood cover with sides to help protect it from such instances. Conclusion: itâs a good buy and I would recommend it, especially if you have plan on placing it somewhere remote.

No wifi, No Problem!
Easy to set up and install. The first one I received had a broken antenna. I contacted customer service listed on box and they sent me out a new unit within a couple of days. Cool huh?As for the unit, it is not auto tracking. Read the fine print. Other than that, it does everything else well for a security camera. There is about a 5-10 second lag on event and notification( it has to go to outer galaxies to reach my phone). It records both night and day in color. The spotlight is not very bright so I leave my porch light on overnight.

Good Camera Quality but Expensive Subscriptions Make It Not Worth It
I am a big fan of Reolink and already own several of their wired security cameras that work very well. Because of that, I was excited to try this wireless solar model, but it did not live up to expectations. The video quality and color night vision are excellent, but the rest of the experience was frustrating. The main issue is the cost. This camera requires a monthly subscription that runs about $20, and on top of that, it quickly used up the included memory. I ended up needing another subscription just to keep things running. For me, it simply was not worth paying extra on top of the upfront cost of the camera. In all, while I still trust Reolink for my wired systems, this wireless solar model fell short. It is too dependent on ongoing subscriptions and did not provide the value I was looking for, so I went back to using wired cameras.

Remote Camera Worth the Money
This camera works great! We use it to monitor our driveway gate which is 1/4 mile from the house. This camera offers a great solution with a reasonable price. It has a great app and clear video quality. I highly recommend it.

Easy set up and works great. Only issue was getting a SIM and cellular plan as no WiFi at site. Only company that could help us was Bell so hopefully all goes well.

Easy to install and works really well. Covers our driveway

Great product. The instructions are lacking, but the product is very good. At night the infra red flares onto the image slightly which is a design fault, but overall a great product. One week running in the weather. Battery is staying at 100% even in overcast days. I will give an update later.

This camera works very well where you can’t access Wi-Fi. We had an issue with our unit, it stopped working. Reolink addressed it quickly and sent a replacement.
