Good moisturizer
Good hydration. I have normal skin and this moisturizer wasnât too heavy. I donât think it would be enough for dry skin, but I think it feels nice and melts into skin

Great Product
Iâve used Revision products on and off for years. But this barrier cream is the best!! Especially if youâre experiencing any dryness after using retinol or had any type of resurfacing treatment. Very moisturizing.

Not as moisturizing as I expected
I was very excited to try a product from such a well-known and (at least for my budget) inaccessible brand. I love the pump delivery system–it just feels like you have more control over how much product you’re using, and doesn’t introduce bacteria the way an open jar might. I’m not sure if you’re able to unscrew the top when it’s nearly empty to scoop out whatever remains in the tub, but I’ve done this with other products, and you don’t waste a drop.The product itself is less moisturizing than I would have expected. The upside of this is that it doesn’t feel greasy, but it also doesn’t feel like I’m getting the kind of moisture I really want from a product like this. It does absorb easily and a little seems to go a long way, but it feels like a product that does a little too much. If it were just for nighttime use, a heavier product with more moisturizer would be more appropriate, but because it’s designed for day and nighttime use, it needs to be lighter to use under makeup (or just to not have an oily, greasy face throughout the day).It doesn’t have any strong scent that I was able to detect, which is a huge benefit, especially when using at night. Some of these products are so overly scented or fragranced that they will actually keep me awake at night. This one definitely does not.Overall, I enjoy the experience of using this product, but because of the higher price point, I would definitely consider finding a place like Ulta or Sephora where you could try it first to see what you’re getting and make sure it meets your needs.

Sooo good, it made my fine lines go away. The airless pump makes it so hygienic. The bottle comes with a good amount of product.

Amazing moisture.
I am very pleased with this moisturizer purchase!This Revision Skincare DermProtect Barrier Defense Intensive Moisturizer is a nice change from the many creams and serums I have. It goes on effortlessly and does create a nice bright glow on my skin. I will be using this every day as it creates such an even appearance on my skin and is fine under my makeup. The scent is very light and is barely noticeable after it is absorbed into my skin. I love the intensive ingredients and that it works for all skin types. And since a little goes a long way, the size of the jar for a very reasonable price is a plus. Fine wrinkles almost disappear after a single use!Overall, for a facial moisturizer that gives you so many noticeable results, I would buy this again and recommend it highly! Quality, premium facial product well worth the price! 5 stars all the way!

Misrepresented
First, this is a terrific company and the products are good. This product, however, is drying and terrible for mature skin. An expensive lesson and perhaps I will seek a new company for skin care. Shame on the writers and company for misrepresenting this product.

Feels silky smooth and almost no smell
I immediately noticed how silky smooth this moisturizer felt so I was worried that it may leave my skin feeling oily but it does not. It has a nice soft creamy feeling when first applying and it feels like the skin absorbs it quickly but it leaves the skin feeling hydrated and smooth and it lasts. When I opened the lid for the first time I thought that there was another cover but quickly realized that all you need to do is push down on it and the lotion comes out which makes it very convenient and easy to apply. I’ve never tried any moisturizer in this price range but am very impressed with the results so far, time will tell if I think it’s worth the price but so far I’m extremely happy with the results. There is almost no smell to it, you can smell it a little when first applying it but it’s very faint and pleasant. The scent is so slight I’m not even able to describe it.Overall a very good quality hydrating lotion that does not feel oily or have a strong fragrance, it just does the job.

I’ve never had a heavier feeling moisturizer feel as velvety as this without it being overly greasy. Most moisturizers provide moisture, but this one actually moisturizes and hydrates effectively, leaving a dewy appearance. It may be too much for some, but pairing it with a mattifying sunscreen can help balance the look during the day. One pump provides ample coverage and allows it to soak in with some time.Beyond the formula, I appreciate the thoughtful yet simple branding and presentation, which suggests more investment in quality ingredients. It shows. My skin feels incredibly soft, almost like it reversed time. Even my hands felt the difference after rubbing them together at the end of my routine. My skin barrier is intact, but after shaving or using actives, I can feel the immediate relief it providesâlike my skin is thanking me.If you have mature and/or compromised skin then this is totally worth it!
