Nice system
I bought this to replace the Ring Pro I had. The Ring Proâs build in WiFi routerâs performance was abysmal, even with two eero satellites set up as a mesh network.As I mentioned in the Ring Proâs review, the security system works great, itâs easy to set up, the app is user friendly and the z-band that the sensors use have adequate range. I have a 3800 square foot rancher and donât experience any connection issues with the sensors.

Replaced a Pro with this!
So this is the key for monitoring my wheelchair-bound father living alone. I bought the Pro kit to start, and the router function was fine, just a bit dated, The router died, no clue why (lightning or a power surge, invest in a cheap UPS please) but it was toast. To replace it was $250! We had a Eero router in access mode from the ISP, it was Wifi 6e and much more capable than the built-in pro ring router. Having this non-pro version has all the capabilities without being tied to the router function, cell, and battery backup, the works. Nothing wrong with the pro, just wasn’t going to spend double for replacing it with aged tech.
