Great combo to enter the Ring ecosystem
Great price for a good combination of Ring devices. Both were easy to set up and install. Followed youtube to see how to mount it on brick for the doorbell. Needed to get an adapter to properly mount floodlight. The floodlight camera was a replacement of old motion detector floodlight that started working during the day and not at night.The camera on the floodlight is very good and the doorbell is ok with the fisheye lens. I like that if the doorbell detects motion I can have the floodlight turn the cameras on and turn the lights on at night. Had an issue with the sensitivity of the floodlight turning the lights on too quickly. Played with the fencing window to not much luck and eventually reached out to Ring support. After a few troubleshooting sessions, they had me reset the floodlight and cleared the issue. I was very impressed with support. I like how the components work well with each other.Have it so there’s not too many false positives. The Ring App lets you review imagery that was recorded pretty easy.

This was a great combo security deal offered. I was able to upgrade my doorbell and add an outside light for monitoring. Battery-powered, so great for renters or homes without existing doorbell wiring. Lets you speak to visitors or use pre-recorded messages. Clear daytime footage; newer models even offer Head-to-Toe video for a better field of view. Easier to recharge than some competitors. Easy to use and install with the benefit of motion detection, I did it myself.

I am very happy with my ring. The set up was intimidating but the app walks you through it. As to the install there are lots of you tube videos demonstrating how. Good picture resolution. We get alerts. You can change the settings for how close or far for alerts. You can since the motion sensor. Happy with it!

Great
The hardwired floodlight works great with no issues. I wish there was a setting to keep the lights off when I want. The doorbell works most of the time. There has been a few occasions where it loses connection and needs to be reset. Also cameras sometimes will not pick up motion until they’re halfway across the zone we’ve set.
