Great Addition to My Ring Setup
The Ring Chime is a perfect companion to my Ring doorbell. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and setup only took a few minutes. The Ring Chime is super easy to set up and works flawlessly with my Ring system. But let me warn you, it does not whisper. I could be two rooms away, upstairs, with the vacuum running, and Iâll still hear it crystal clear. ðPro tip: You can adjust the volume (thankfully) in the Ring app under Audio Settings. Once I turned it down, it became the perfect little alert chime without sending me into fight or flight mode every time it went off. ð²ð§You can also choose which Ring devices you want it to chime for. If youâve got more than one camera or doorbell, you can customize which alerts play and when. Super helpful if you want to hear front door deliveries but not your side yard squirrels. ð¿ï¸ð¯And hereâs the real MVP feature, It alerts me when thereâs motion or someone drops off a package. Easy set up and works perfectly!
Absolutely perfect and super easy to set up. Just have your wifi and your Ring app ready to go. I put this upstairs in our hallway so that we have better coverage and can hear the doorbell ring if we aren’t paying attention to our phones. The app walks you through set-up making it very simple to do!

This is small but good you can pick the ring tone on it and change the tone when u want to I just love it!!You never have to worry about batteries because they use an outlet they are sleek so u can still use ur other plug quality is nice

Does not ring with my door bell device
Just received my ring chime. Set it up with no problems by all the prompts on my app to my 2.4 GHz network. This thing does not work at all, piece of crap! I have it plugged in less than 10′ from my ring door bell inside and its only 20′ from my router. Went into the app to see if I missed anything. Tested the chime through my phone app and it rings just fine. It just doesn’t work with my new ring wired door bell cam. It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Update.>>>>>>> This thing may have a intermittent connection problems. It now chimes here and there but is not consistent…….. UPDATE: Ring team reached out via phone and email after seeing my low rating and gave me some tech advice to improve the chime and the inconsistent connection issue I was having. It’s better now after doing a reloading (re-adding) of the chime device through the phone app. At least the RIng folks reached out and followed through on their product in this case.

Easy to setup
I am so happy I bought this! My husband doesnât have a smart phone and when I am not home he doesnât know when someone rings the bell. You can control the volume on the chime and it can be quite loud which is good for my husband who is hard of hearing

The ring door bell is better than expected. I’ve tried other camera doorbell ie, Geenie, Blinking, and none of them gave me the confidence and peace of mind to know I received a quality product. One that is reliable, easy to install, and affordable. I’m completely satisfied with the Ring Doorbell camera and would recommend it’s purchase to friends , family and acquaintances.
