Battery will not hold a charge if the camera not changed to battery mode.
Updated review. Initial problem was that the battery only lasts a day or so, then it is dead. I recharged it twice. Still the same problem. It appears that the camera was NOT in battery mode. It took several tries to get it into battery mode. I believe that the camera should issue a warning if it is accidentally left in wired mode. I am now testing it to see if it keeps a charge.

So this battery works fine , BUT BUYER BE WARE IT WILL MOT SHOW LIFE PERCENT AND app will not show you percent, 

Easy to use, replace and charge
I got this extra battery pack to use with my Ring video doorbells and Spotlight camera plus. They are very easy to charge and recharge relatively quickly. They fit perfectly in my doorbells and spotlight camera. They are easy to put and remove from both devices. They are durable, well designed and well made. Because I have two doorbells and one camera, I purchased 4 extra batteries so I always have 4 fully charged and ready to replace any dead batteries with. This prevents me from having any camera downtime while recharging batteries. Consequently, these batteries are very convenient and increase the functionality and utility of my Ring devices. They are relatively inexpensive and well worth the money.
