Another terrible Amazon experience
Super unimpressed. It’s another paperweight from Amazon. The app will not sinc with my phone but keeps acting like it’s trying. The camera just shows a solid white light, which isn’t even given a descriptor in the instructions so who knows what that’s supposed to mean. The app is completely stuck on the “connecting” screen, spinning its wheels of uselessness, likely forever. My wi-fi signal is excellent so that’s not the issue. Then there’s the Roku interface it took just to get to this point of uselessness. Absolutely ridiculous. Had to sign in and verify about 6 times, and that’s by design, which is patently insane. I thought something good might finally be happening when it claimed it was connecting. Alas, nothing good is happening. And there’s literally no way to get the app to exit and reset. I just have a endlessly spinning wheel of death when I open it now. I should really know better than to buy anything more technologically advanced than tooth paste off this site.I should add, there was zero protective packaging in the box. So the camera obviously got bounced around madly in transit. It could very well be shock damaged. But when I try to return broken electronics to amzn, they typically claim it never showed up and don’t refund my money. Amnz support is non existent anymore. So that’s an effort in futility. Roku, which I’ve used for a few years now, isn’t much better.

I’m glad I got it, VERY happy with it. I wanted something portable and a plug in, as I want to use as needed not 24/7. I haven’t put it outside yet :). I put it on a tri-pod so it’s pointed out toward the window [please note- it wasn’t intended to be used that way, but…perfect during the day, but at night the reflection of the cameras light on the window will defeat the purpose-so I haven’t used its night feature yet].The programming was easy; I am still working through some of the motion detection features. The price point was reasonable. The images are clear. I like that I can monitor on the TV through ROKU, and the subscription is very affordable. The connection is good.

Great little camera, easy set up, great video. BUT, no local storage. No slot for a SD card. You must have a Roku Smart Home membership for cloud storage.

Off to a Good start, but thenâ¦.
We had the camera for less than a month and stopped working completely. Called customer service and troubleshooted, but sadly no resolution. Hoping we just had a bad device. Camera pics and range are clwar and crisp!
