Good dumbells – just like the ones at my gym
I’ve had these for 4 days.The smell other reviews report was there when these arrived. I put both dumbells in shadow out on my deck for a day.They still smell a bit but only when you get very close to them, and the smell is definitely dissipating.They work and feel and balance like the ones in a regular gym. Good grip and both dumbells are evenly balanced.Weight is 19.6 pounds each. (I’ve never weighed the ones in the gym but I’d be surprised if those are spot-on at 20 pounds.These have the same heft as gym ones).They also seem robust and unlikely to fall apart.Overall I am very pleased with these and would buy them again.July 17. Ten days since I received these. The smell is nit noticeable unless you put your nose about an inch from the black rubber.These were a good deal and seem the same as what use in a local gym.I’d definitely buy these again!

Yes these do smell like rubber as others said. It does wear off. Very happy with the weights! Sturdy! Does the job!

Smell
I got what was advertised at a very great price. Itâs smells was very overwhelming at first. It dissipated within an hour of taking it out of the package though.

UPDATED: Dumbbells Look Good,, but they’re coated with messy oil.
Just rec’d the order. On first inspection, these dumbbells seem fine and a good value for the money. We’ll see, I’ll update once they’ve been used a while.So why four stars if they’re satisfactory? Well they’re shipped with an oil coating. Sure it’ll inhibit corrosion during warehousing, but where is this oil from and what kind of oil is it? It’s heavy enough to stain concrete and any other surface you put it on until thoroughly wiped down. Hopefully it’s not full of toxins and these weights will serve me well.UPDATE: so after a week of smelling that oil/rubber odor, got fed-up and filled a tub with h2o and Simple Green. Let soak for half a day. I’ve attached a pic that shows the oil slick floating on top. Even after all this, the dumbbells still smell horrible and bleed black. So now -3 stars and I’m going to look into returning them.

Good weights for strength training
The black on the weights comes off a bit at first but I think thatâs normal. Other than that the weights are great!

Great Quality Dumbbells at an Affordable Price
I ordered the 25lbs dumbbell pair, and Iâm really happy with the quality. The price is excellent compared to other options on the market, and they feel durable and well-made. The only minor thing I noticed is that the handle is a bit longer than expected, but it doesnât affect usability much. Overall, itâs a great product with no complaints. Iâd definitely recommend these over the higher-priced dumbbells available out there.

SMELLS AND HAS CAR OIL????!!!!
I think theyâre great weight but Iâm confused on why they were slathered in oil???! It smells like I went to a tire shop and they just spilled oil all over my weights. It smells disgusting and I have my hands covered in a weird oil. I donât know if thatâs normal if anyone could tell me, but for the most part, Iâm excited to use the weight but I wouldâve wanted them to be cleaner.

Absolutely awful smell. Wiped them down when received and aired them out for two weeks straight outside, on the balcony. That should get rid of the smell, right? This did NOT get rid of the awful smell. Brought them inside in the evening and it made the living room smell awful overnight. Unbearable smell that has no sign of going away.The black parts have weird pumps and the finish is uneven so when you press the dumbbells together, they don’t seamlessly rest against each other.The weight is not accurate at 20 lbs either.Do not buy. You think you are going to save a bit of money but if you want these for indoor use… Not recommended.

I pesi sono ben costruiti, con un’impugnatura solida e un ottimo bilanciamento. Perfetti per l’allenamento in casa o in palestra. L’unico piccolo difetto è l’odore iniziale di plastica/gomma, che si attenua dopo qualche settimana. Nel complesso, un acquisto consigliato per chi cerca attrezzatura di qualità .

Nice set of dumbbells, although these have a stonger rubber smell than the previous set i ordered, but nonetheless they are well made and the smell goes away eventually !

le poids constaté , est de 8k 650 et non pas 9 k pour chaque halter , ce n’est pas un problème du fait que les deux haltères font exactement le même poids . la qualité des haltères et l’emballage est irréprochables… très satisfais de mon achat .
