Awesome!
These were exactly what I was looking for at a very fair price comparatively. They have a mild odor when they are new but it’s nothing intolerable. They do exactly what they are supposed to do which is help you get in shape. They also take up significantly less space than traditional dumbbells which I find to be a huge plus.

Smelly grease may make you rethink
As everyone else said, weights come lathered in a smelly grease thats unpleasant and will get on you. That being said, if youre willing to give em a wash down with a towel and perhaps a freshner cause they smell god awful these are gonna serve their purpose.

Expensive, but pleased!
My 20lb. pair arrived today as scheduled. Packaging was very sturdy and double boxed with foam and bubble wrap inside. The chrome plating and rubber do have no issues and look great! The rubber was oily like many describe, but some hot water, Dawn dish soap and an old tooth brush cleaned them up perfectly. I do smell what many people complain about in the rubber but it smells like new tires to me, and if Iâm being honest with you, Iâve always liked that smell, so not an issue for me, and certainly not over powering. All in all Iâm very pleased with my purchase. I think the price is a little high, but still less expensive that iron plates, and theyâre exactly as described and what I wanted. I am however a little disappointed that 20lbs seems like itâs so much heavier than it was 40 years ago!!ð¤£

Just a really good dumbbell, the rubber coating is great. Hope they dont peel? ( haven’t had to long) but jus tape up the handles & your ready to goThink I paid 60 bucks for the pair, so they not cheap. But they seem to be well made? So I would say if u purchase you will not be disappointed

High quality, durable dumbbells
Really high quality dumbbells. The rubber heads mean that floors don’t get damaged even if they are dropped. This isn’t really an advantage or disadvantage, but the handles are a lot thinner than similar 35 or 50lb dumbbells. Overall, I’d recommend these!
