HIGH Quality
I live in a sunny state, and this thing hasn’t faded after about three months, which is nice. The quality of the plastic is super high. Screwing into it. It has a high storage capacity and is, I would say, mostly waterproof, but I have seen water in it. I’m not sure if it’s from rain or wet items going in. Either looks excellent, and my husband loves it.Just to raise awareness, though, putting this together was a nightmare, but once together, it is very solid. I’m also pretty good at this stuff, and this one made Ikea seem like it was made for infants.

Very happy with purchase
Very easy to put together! Maybe took me 45 minutes and seems sturdy. Large enough to fit our pool and outside toys. Color was as described. My toddler can open the lid by herself and get the items out herself which is a plus.

Installation should be a 2 person job!
So far it seems good – the floor slides into a grooved area on the sides to latch into place which speeds up installation nicely BUT it’s a PITA to get it to line up IF you don’t follow the instructions precisely!I did it myself but it’s gone a lot faster if there were 2 people helping, and I suggest you do this in the garage as doing this in the sun with the wind blowing is just dumb.Overall, however, thing just lined up and fit once I realized I was trying to put the floor on upside down :)We intend to keep the furniture covers and some small cushions in here so as to not always run them into the dining room whenever it rains.Now that I’ve done it once, the 2nd time I’d take 5 minutes – buy bigger than you think you’d need it – I had to argue to get the larger one and already my wife has filled it (and she wanted the smaller one initially!)Recommended.

Flimsy
This bin is so flimsy and poor quality! I had 2 from another brand that are great, but I needed a bigger size bin which they didnât have so I purchased this Rubbermaid extra large bin. The plastic is such poor quality and the lid doesnât seal completely unless you push it with your hand to the side. The lid is also not hydraulic mechanism. If I could return I totally would, unfortunately after opening and assembling who is going to be able to return?It is large in size that is about the only positive.

Not worth the Money
The only good thing it arrived in 2 days. The bad news as highlighted not worth the money.Extremely difficult to assemble, poor assembly instructions. Assembling the sides to the base extremely difficult, you will have a difficult time getting the side panels to slide together. Thereâs two panels that creates the box whereas the ends join together in the center requiring 3 U brackets that holds the box together! Thatâs the weak point. Just putting seat cushion causes the sides to bulge outwards. The top only has plastic straps to keep the top from falling backwards and falls forward that can fall forward and hit the back of head.I returned the unit within 2 dayâs. You must follow precise instructions to get a full refund. I received a UPS return label and took it to my UPS Store. After 10 day UPS lost my package. Now Iâm working with Amazon to follow up on my return!I purchased a great Deck box from Samâs Club, itâs superior in quality and I saved nearly $100. Extremely easy to put together and has spring load lid cylinders.Carl A

Trust Rubbermaid
I looked at a lot of things on amazon to hold deliveries. I have a covered porch so rain not much of a problem. I don’t sit there, although that wouldn’t be a deal breaker but all of the storage benches didn’t hold enough. Many of the boxes were too long to fit on the porch. I needed something less than 36 inches long but big enough to hold larger boxes or several Amazon Fresh deliveries. That is assuming UPS, FedEx or even Amazon will use this box. I have had problems with stolen packages and have two thieves on security cam. But of course, the authorities do nothing about it but tell you to bring your mail in right away. That’s fine if you’re home but I needed a solution for when I am not. My USPS carrier *will* use the box as we have discussed the theft problem before and I’m not the only one.The box arrived at11:50 and I had it assembled by 1pm all by myself. Minimal tools needed but I did need a screwdriver and either a socket wrench or an open end wrench. All parts were included (plus one extra screw and I appreciate that.) The directions were clear and it went together easily. While they do recommend two people I put it together alone quite easily. The design and construction seems quite sturdy and adequate to my purpose. While I wouldn’t sit on it I imagine you could as long as you don’t weigh to much. Since this will sit on my porch I also spray painted it to match my house, so construction was actually less than an hour as the remainder of the 70 min. was spent spray painting the top front and both sides.Once the paint is dry I will be attaching labels to direct USPS, FedEx, UPS and Amazon to place deliveries in the box. I will also be adding labels warning that mail theft is a Federal Felony resulting in up to 5 years in prison and $250,000 fines. Plus a warning that they should smile as they are on security cams. Will it stop them? No. You can never stop them, just slow them down. There is a loop on the front to padlock the lid and box together but it would be easy to cut through the plastic so I don’t consider this a secure solution. It is mostly to get deliveries out of sight and to further warn them about theft, should they be caught. For that purpose, this is perfect.I plan to put insulation around the sides and top so that if amazon fresh delivers, groceries will be insulated at least somewhat.

Useful and sturdy
I store my gardening tools and other outdoor stuff in this storage box. It holds a lot! I also use it as a seat outside my door when someone comes by to talk. I like the neutral colour.
