Protect cameras, lenses, photographic and optical equipment, mobile electronics, and other valuables from excessive moisture, dirt, and dust with the Ruggard EDC-80L Electronic Dry Cabinet. The cabinet’s fast-acting TE Cooling Wafer regulates the interior’s relative humidity from 60-35% to help prevent corrosion that can damage delicate gear and other sensitive materials. Humidity adjustments take place over a 1- to 3-hour period. The large LCD screen displays ambient temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius), and the relative humidity. The cabinet is gasket-sealed to maintain humidity levels.
The door features a keyed lock that keeps the cabinet contents safe and secure, and prevents unauthorized access to your equipment. The lock comes complete with two keys.
The Electronic Dry Cabinet has no fan or compressor to make noise, so it provides silent operation. It is also dripless, eliminating the need for a messy water tray that requires draining. The cabinet is powered by an included multi-voltage power supply.
- Interior LED lights make viewing and finding gear easier.
- Cabinet base and shelves are padded to protect contents.
- User-selectable Fahrenheit or Celsius display.
- Four feet, two leveling, prevent unwanted movement on uneven surfaces. Dry Cabinet Order
The dry cabinet arrived 2 days earlier as per advice. Material was well packed and arrived in great shape. The cabinet worked as advertised, keeping my cameras and lenses in controlled humidity. This cabinet gives me a peace of mind that my expensive gadgets will be kept in tip top condition avoiding moist, condensation, molds and fungus. Servicing of the camera and lenses when not kept in controlled environment will cost you a lot. This dry cabinet gives you peace of mind and saves you a lot of money.

Excellent product!
When I ordered this dry cabinet I was expecting many parts that needed assembly. Actually this is fully assembled and all I needed to do was to install the Handel. Itâs really a well built cabinet and packed very good for shipping. I may order a second one because of all my camera equipment. An excellent buy!

Perfect home for my camera gearâsilent and dependable
I use this 30â¯L cabinet to store my mirrorless body plus five lenses, and itâs been a game changer. The humidity control works fastâdrops from 60â¯% to 35â¯% in just a couple hoursâand holds steady with no fans or drip trays to mess with. Setup was simple: plug it in, set the humidity, and it seals tightly thanks to the gasketâno dust, no fuss .I’ve also heard from others that it âruns silentâ and looks sharp in any studio. On top of that, I trust it holds my gear safe night after night. The door lock adds peace of mind, though itâs more to keep kids out than thieves. Cleanup has been easy tooâjust wipe the glass and go.If you live in a humid area or want to protect lenses and electronics, this is a solid investment. Worth every penny.

Good build.
I have four camera bodies in this and about eight lenses, though half are Leica lenses that are smaller than the pair of Nikon DSLR lens I have inside. The shelves are adjustable and the build seems good. Very happy with that. The interior atmosphere control works well enough, set the humidity level and the box pretty much keeps it more or less in the ballpark. The external display is pretty but worthless. The humidity rating reads + or – 10 or more points to where is actually is.I got a separate meter and stuck it inside so I can see it through the door without opening the box and that tells me the box IS maintaining the humidity as it should, just the display is all wrong. For the price and build (display not withstanding) this box is a functional and good looking piece of kit that is a must have if you live in a wet climate or humidity is a factor for you for whatever reason.

Awesome, and 80L is big enough for a LOT of gear
I got the 80L to store my lenses. I live in Portland, Oregon, which can be humid at some times of the year, and I wanted to keep lenses closer to a stable 40% RH than fluctuating from 30-80 which is the norm here in the fall and spring. The Ruggard 80L cabinet is great. It runs SILENT, doesn’t appear to draw much power, and has plenty of room. Inside I have four camera bodies on the top shelf (various Nikons) with a little room leftover for more. On the bottom I have a ton of lenses standing upâincluding fairly large telephoto zooms like the Nikon 70-200, Sigma 100-400, Sigma DX 50-100 (a true monster), and a bunch of primes, including several that are 105mm or longer. They all fit just fine standing up, and there are currently twelve lenses in there. There’s room for more if I added a shelf or otherwise organized them better, but I just stood them up, cap side down. There is a soft mat thingy that came with the unit that makes this seem like the reasonable way to go.I’m pleased with this cabinet not just because of the humidity thing, but quite frankly because it is a fairly dust-controlled place to put my camera stuff. I know I could just put it in a big plastic tub or something and that would be fairly similar, but this thing is a cabinet with a lockable door, and I now have a muscle memory for where everything “lives.” It’s great. I just hope I never buy so much camera gear that I need to buy a bigger oneâthis one fits perfectly under my desk without much room left over!

One of the best purchases I have ever made.
This is one of those items that you plug in and forget about it. It does exactly what the maker says it would do. Miy unit holds a lot of gear and looks great. It is so comforting to know my camera gear is well protected.

Excellent dehumidifying cabinet
Update: 3 years and working like new. I just came back to buy a second and saw my review, so I thought it was a good time for an update! This was the best price to size dry cabinet I could find, and thankfully the performance has exceeded my expectations as well. Just to give a gauge of how much gear it can hold, I have all of the following in it currently:Sony a9Sigma 50 Art 1.4, 100-400Tamron 28-75, 70-180, 35 2.8Sony 85 1.8Samyang 45 1.8Fuji XE-3 and 35 1.4Rolleiflex 2.8fHelios 44-2, and Jupiter 9In my unit, the humidistat in the unit reads about 5% low when judging against a calibrated humidistat. It’s not the end of the world though, as the range it will dehumidify down to is low enough to compensate. I kept a humidistat inside as well as outside for a few weeks after purchasing: my ambient humidity was 60% and the cabinet has held it steady at 38% for months. The lights inside the cabinet are a nice touch, though I rarely use them. The seal on the door is solid; I’ve never had it open itself up. The lock is nice for keeping kids/pets out, but obviously not a real security measure against theft as the cabinet itself is fairly light. All in all, I’m pushing the limits of gear that it will hold, and I’d happily buy a second.

Excellent storage solution for my Cameras
Well packed. Easy set-up. Controls are easy enough to use. Includes lock and keys. Very flexible setup. Holds my Sony A7RV with a power winder, flash head, Sony video camera, Leica T, and 5 or so large Sony lenses. Holds a lot of gear! Keeps humidity levels very constant. Dead silent operation. Very pleased.

This item is perfect for me needs the only downside was the delivery. It was late due a missed connection with Evri I could not get any information on when it was likely to arrive. When it did come there was a large hole in the box luckily the cabinet box was inside another box so the cabinet was undamaged

The best!! Yes. Always keeping the humidity controlled.

Muito competente para manter a umidade controlada, além de permitir muito bem a organização de três câmeras e sete lentes.

Appears to work. Stopped Canon TG6 from fogging internally. Hope it works for longer then most of my other Amazon purchases.
