Almost seems too good to be true, but it is an amazing sink
This sink has everything: heavier gauge steel, accessories that you didnât know that you needed, larger radius corners that are easy to clean. And itâs economically priced, not cheap, but much more reasonable than competitors. Our favorites: the steel grid that keeps pots and pans off the bottom, and the tiered sides that fit cutting boards and drying racks. And that 16 ga steel makes this a quieter sink overall. If you can budget this, itâs maybe the most important part of the kitchen and is well worth the expense.

Great. Big. Sink.
Love this sink. It’s large, deep enough, beautiful. I love that dishes don’t pile up on the counter like they do with a small or divided sink. Any dish I have fits in this thing, love that! I use the bowl & strainer a lot, the cutting board some & the rest of the accessories not much, but I think that’s a personal thing. I misplaced the dry rack before it was installed or I would use that daily.I thought the “sharp” corners would make it hard to clean but that’s not an issue. If I leave a can in it overnight, it rusts just like any steel sink will, but it buffs out easier than other sinks I’ve used.Have had it for a few months now and don’t notice that it’s loud & I don’t see a lot of scratches, but I’m not looking for them & wouldn’t care if there were scratches. It’s a super-functional kitchen sink, it doesn’t have to be gorgeous. Totally worth the money to me.

LOVE THIS SINK!
We purchased this 57 inch sink as part of a kitchen remodel when I loved (but couldn’t afford the Galley sink and Galley Tap faucets as well as the appliances I already wanted). I also purchased 2 of the black cutting boards for prepping/cutting raw meat. Instead of buying a $6,000+ sink and two $1800 faucets, we bought this sink with two of the the Krauss Oletto 21 inch high-arc faucets for $150 each on Prime Day. These faucets are also wonderful and pull down for easy sink cleanup. They also swing out of the way when I’m chopping/prepping. This sink is fabulous for prepping – just chop on the cutting board and sweep veggies into the bowl underneath. We leave the drying rack in the middle of the sink all of the time (great for drying yeti cups and for holding knives, blade down between the grates for drying or just for storage when I’m not quite done with them yet). We also leave the long rectangle colander in the sink all the time (stored beneath the drying rack), which holds my dish scrub and sponge. I store the cutting boards upright, as recommended, to avoid warping. I did treat them with food safe mineral oil prior to using. And of course they have knife marks (I’m confused at people who complain of knife marks on their cutting boards… maybe they never cut?). Knife marks don’t bother me – I want function in my kitchen. If dirty dishes are in the sink, I can hide them under the drying rack or cutting boards until the dishwasher can be unloaded and reloaded. My husband and I both cook and we can work side by side with this 57 inch sink without bumping elbows. I’ll be working on dinner while he is doing meal-prep for the week. We leave the grate in the bottom of the sink to prevent scratching/denting but food sometimes gets stuck on the feet so you may have to chase it a bit with the pull down faucet. And the sink is fairly flat so if I’m working on the left side, I have to use the left faucet to rinse food down to the other end and may need to use the right faucet to push it all the way into the drain. We have a counter button for the garbage disposal and have counter soap dispensers on each side (the left side has hand soap and the right side has Dawn dish soap). This sink has been my favorite part of the remodel (and that’s saying something since I bought a SubZero fridge and GE monogram double oven). If you like to cook, this is the best invention ever. I found cuisinart cookie sheets that fit onto the top ledge so I can put them directly into the sink to cool when I remove them from the oven. I’m still trying to find 17 in baking pans that will fit on the top ledge (many are actually over 17 inches and don’t quite fit…. the search continues!). I recommend getting the largest sink that you can if there are 2 of you working in the kitchen. We were going to get the 42 inch sink but I changed my mind at the last minute and ordered the larger one. My son also bakes and I love that he can proof dough in the mixing bowl and I can slide it under a cutting board and keep working. I don’t have crumbs and drying racks all over my counter anymore so I don’t even need as much counter space. Fresh bread is sliced on a cutting board over the sink – all crumbs are just brushed into the sink. Meat/steaks also sliced on a cutting board over the sink so any juice just goes into the sink. Fresh fruit is rinsed in the colander and left to drain before putting it in the fridge. I haven’t used the sink much for serving but have enough cutting boards to line up several and place platters/trays on top if needed. We have been using this sink for two months now and I can’t imagine life without it. When I go to my mom’s house, I now wonder how she makes due with a regular sink. If we move, I may take this sink with me…. :). Best Amazon purchase, EVER!

GREAT sink!
Feb 12, 2021 Update. I am still so in LOVE with this sink after a few years of use. I initially knocked off 1 star due to the error the manufacturer had with the template making others end up with a single tier rather than a double tier, however, it looks like another more recent reviewer noted the manufacturer has corrected that error since I had mine installed back in 2019.I am back on Amazon today to order another one of these sinks for our second kitchen in our home. I do see that the price has dropped by $100 so I’m extra thrilled. Even at the higher price it was worth every penny! The included racks/etc seem much better this time around as well. I am looking forward to the pasta bowl vs the extra square strainer thing. The quality is top notch but our extra basket/strainer thing stays packed away because I rarely use it.The only “negative” I have found with my current sink is the sharp 90 degree turns from the vertical to horizontal surface. It’s a bit of a challenge to keep those sharp corners clean. However, as noted in my earlier review, I’m OCD so I use an old tooth brush to keep those corners clean. Before my first purchase I had been shopping around for months for just the right sink and kept running into the $2000 price ranges for the sinks I wanted. When I saw this sink on Amazon it was appealing at the much lower cost but I must admit I feared I would end up with lower quality for my desire to save some money. I was definitely wrong, as this sink is by far as good, if not better, than the $2000 sinks I almost purchased. This sink has definitely earned the additional 5th star rating it deserves, at least from my personal experience.Original review in 2019: We are in love with our new Ruvati sink. It is a beast. Although it is the same width as our prior 60/40 sink, it seems so much bigger without the center obstruction. The main reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5 is due to the incorrect template that is sent out with the sink. Thankfully I am persistent (OCD some say) about making sure everything is to the specification I want, I measured the sink vs the template upon arrival and realized if installed as the template stated/measured I too would only have one tier. I contacted the manufacturer about some negative reviews stating is is not a double tiered sink as advertised and the template also makes it a single tier. The manufacturer clarified if I left a 3/4 inch reveal on the front and back I would indeed have the double tier. I’m stumped as to why they make the template as a total 4 sided flush mount if that makes it a single tier, making one have to use some of the provided “attachments” across the top of their counter versus down inside on the above mentioned second tier. Why not make the template to measure out to be a double tiered sink if that is what they are advertising it as? It really makes no sense. After the conversation with the manufacturer I now know the negative reviews about it only being one tier are because those people assumed the template was correct. Very sad now that it’s too late for them. When I took my sink information to my granite installer I made it crystal clear that they MUST add 3/4 inch reveal on top and bottom REGARDLESS what the manufacturer’s template specified. I drew everything out on the template in bright red ink and used lots of highlighters to make absolutely certain the extra at top and bottom was not overlooked. Thankfully, since I’m a contractor by trade I have dealt with my granite installer for years so everything went smoothly and I have my two tiers! I hope that anyone else buying this sink in the future assuming all the instructions/template are designed for the two tiered sink that it is advertised to be, read my review and have the heads up before they have their new sink hole cut in their material of choice.UPDATE: Forgot to mention. If you are installing this sink and are working on the strainer that comes with it, the instructions state use foam washer then rubber washer then locknut. No where in the instructions does it state anything about the rubber washer being “different”….meaning it is ribbed on one side and smooth on the other side. My first attempt I did not pay attention and put the ribbed section facing down and the thing would never tighten fully and leaked every time. Since the instructions did not state it was important either direction I decided to take it all apart and reverse the direction of the rubber washer, making the ribbed section face up. This time it tightened perfectly and we have had no further leaks. Really wish this company would stipulate these little nuances in their instructions. Hopefully if you are reading this you will save yourself the headaches through trial and error we experienced. Again, the sink rocks and we love it…just wish the manufacturer would not leave so many choices unresolved for the end user.

So reasonable. We have a small surface area so we couldnât afford an unused surface area not being used as counter. Great for self serving company . I like to have crowds in. We played games on the other side of the counter while the sink side presented the food area. My kitchen is a âUâ shape kitchen. Perfect solution for small floor plan. I bought a separate stainless steel insert for small clean ups. But for pot&pans cookie sheets and canning pressure cookers fantastic very pleased. Itâs been a year now. I canât stand reviews without time of testing. Hope this helps. Enjoy

The size is amazing, looks great and the accessories are high quality and makes food prep easy. We have limited counter space so I saw this and even though it is pricey I now see its true worth and it is definitely worth the price, especially if you have limited counter space.

I do love all the accessories the draining rack is what I use most.I am disappointed that the sink scratches very easily. You canât clean it with even the softest SS cleaner. That said without a cleaner itâs always stained/spotted.I also wish it was a bit thicker/better quality SS.The accessories are very high quality and fit perfectly.

The cutting board is supposed to stay on the sink but after only 2 months of use it is already bending, even if I dry it up after each useI was expecting a wood board designed for a sink to be betterI reached out to Ruvati support for warranty and they told me I’ll have to pay 50 CAD shipping fee for a replacement of a broken part!!!!!Avoid this brand at all costs.
