What I really needed for my home-office TV!
I have a 32″ Samsung in my home office (10×10 room). The sound from the TV is very deficient, especially with the bass/low frequency sounds. So, I bought this soundbar. What a difference!! It was very easy to install and setup. Now I am enjoying music videos with great sound. The power this soundbar has is more than enough for my space. I am very happy I bought it!

Don’t Use Q-Symphony
At first, I was really unhappy with this soundbar and subwoofer, and I was almost ready to return it. Then I decided to turn off the Q-Symphony on my new Samsung TV. The Q-Symphony is a feature of the newer TVs that allow you to use both the speakers on the TV and the soundbar and subwoofer. With Q-Symphony on, there was almost no bass at all and everything sounded bad. Once I turned it off, the sound improved and the bass really came out, and now it hits nice and hard like I wanted. I have it hooked up to my Samsung QN70F TV using the HDMI eARC, and it works great. I can use the TV volume controls to control the sound bar, and there was no setup needed. Having only one remote is a massive plus.

Amazing Product:).
The bass and the overall clarity and sound, are very amazing to be honest, the value beats any other sound bar in my opinion in the price range, it connects to my Bluetooth on my phone extremely well and to my TV, as well I have a LG TV and it connects absolutely no problem just as good as my Samsung monitor, not to heavy for its size overall an amazing product.;)

VERY GOOD QUALITY SOUND
Let me start with the fact that both the sound bar and the subwoofer are not completely WIRELESS as claimed by Samsung and the website description here on Amazon. Both the sound bar and the subwoofer come with a cable that needs to be plugged to an electrical outlet. The sound bar has to be connected to the tv monitor using a HDMI cable that’s not supplied by Samsung. The sound bar doesn’t support Wi-Fi therefore the need for the cable. Also, by not supporting Wi-Fi it can’t be added to the Samsung SmartThings app. The HDMI cable plugs to the TV HDMI PORT 2 on the back of the tv monitor and then to the HDMI TO TV (ARC) on the sound bar.None of these is explained in the so called Simple User Guide that comes with the unit, so it makes it very frustrating to figure out and not user friendly. The only thing that’s wireless about the system is that the subwoofer connects to the sound bar using Bluetooth. On the positive side is that the sound is of very good quality, crisp and good separation of lows and highs. The subwoofer has a good boom. All sounds are best when playing 4k Blu-ray Discs. So far I’m using the preset factory settings since I haven’t figured out how to adjust the bass and treble.I recommend to set the sound bar to SURROUND SOUND using the SOUND MODE button on the remote control and if using rear speakers to set the sound bar to SOUND GROUPING, this increases the sound coming from the rear speakers. This sound bar is only compatible with the Samsung speakers SWA-9250S and not any other brands due to software licensing.Again, none of this is explained on the user guide! The sound bar needs to be turned off after use since it doesnât shut off automatically. The combination of sound bar and speakers are really designed for a small room. My guess is that I’ve would have to pay more money for a better sound system. The sound reproduction can never be achieved as when using a stereo system receiver. My hope is that my investment will last me years of enjoyment! Outside some of the frustration of figuring out the proper setup of this unit, I’m pleased and enjoying the surround sound! I hope other buyers do too! I’ll be reviewing the performance of the rear speakers separately.

Easy to install, works fine
Got this because the speakers on my old Sony TV in my bedroom were dying. I’m using a Dish Joey for my video source. Once I figured out that the Toslink is a simple push in, and there is a top and bottom so orientation is important. Got things sorted out, powered up the sound bar, the tv, and the Joey, muted the TV and off we go. To me the remote isn’t intuitive and the options on the sound bar are limited, hey it’s inexpensive can’t expect too much, the sound is acceptable and way clearer than my TV ever was Size was perfect to fit in the cabinet. The Dish controller easily set up to operate both the soundbar and the TV as well as the Joey, the default settings worked fine. I’d recommend this if you want basic 2.0 sound.

Updated
Updated review:After finding a menu I didnât know existed the sub is plenty strong. I actually had to turn it down on the main control. You just have to play around and find the equalizer menu or YouTube the exact model.I am now really enjoying this package. For reference I have this in a room with vaulted ceilings

Not Bad, Not Great
Normally 270-300 Iâm not sure Iâd buy this, but I used some Amazon points on my card to get this for under $200. At that price, it is a decent value. The remote control is not intuitive and is very thin and cheap feeling. The sound is not bad but doesnât hold a candle to anything Iâve had 10+ years ago. It worked better with my cheap Roku tvs and did not work with my Samsung 65â Plasma. So I got rid of the Plasma and my friend informed me that the cheap Roku soundbar that he bought for it worked with it after he did a firmware update on the TV. Regardless, the sound is OK but it lacks real punch and depth like soundbars of the past.

I bought this sound bar for my son’s room to prevent him keep pestering us in our Cinema Room. For the money I was pleasantly surprised by its sound quality. Yes the mid-range falls away when the volume is nearing its optimum range, however, again for the money it held its own. The bass range from the subwoofer is admirable and can certainly get the room rumbling. As said, for the money, this unit will give the bigger boys like Sonos, B&O and Bowers and Wilkins a good run for their money when it comes to price vs money ratio.
