Refurbished unit came in original packaging, with original cables, and in perfect condition. Be sure to use HDMI* (e)ARC for 5.1 sound, if available – optical interface only supports stereo sound. *HDMI cable not included.
Had high hopes for this soundbar, even bought a Samsung TV to go with it. Sound is good but the bar takes 25 -30 seconds for the sound to come on. Spent 2 hours with online chat (absolutely useless, Samsung should be ashamed) then tried calling Tech Support who was able to video chat (nice feature). She watch as I started up the tv/soundbar and saw 29 seconds on the stopwatch. After going through the settings she claimed it was a normal startup and nothing could be done. If anyone thinks 30 seconds is acceptable, I'll sell you mine cheap! I would have giving 1-star, but then no one would read it.
Great price and super easy setup with Samsung Neo Q Led TV. The Q-Symphony option is why we chose this sound bar and it sounds amazing. The ability to increase the dialog or talking volume in order for it to be equal to the sound effects and music in movies and TV shows is great. We love the way this sound bar uses the TV speakers together with the speakers in the sound bar to create a surround sound effect in Q-Symphony mode.
